Love Express

Writing this poem is actually funny. I have no inspiration and I felt like this poem has no heart to it.

The main reason why I wrote this was because I haven't seen any letters often. And I imagined that centuries ago, saying I Love You to someone far must be so hard for them. So I wrote them this poem.

My father advised me to write poems about someone.

I've already given this to certain people because I knew they needed it.

Nonetheless, I hope you'll like this.

The Love Express

Write me a letter about your love,
The love you claim that's unique,
Send the letter, send it with the dove,
Who's feathers are so white, and I whom it'll seek,

Write the letter you promised me,
Have it written by your heart alone,
My name on it, is what I hope to see,
Never should you text it on the phone,

Write it on a piece of paper,
It doesn't matter whether scratch or new,
Never tell yourself to do it later,
Think of me, just beside you,

Write it neat, make it sleek,
I'm waiting for the paper with the dove,
Write the letter you promised me,
I'm waiting for the paper that was made with love.
