Ah yes, everyone has seen the whole, "Give me Feedback please, I can take it, Good or Bad!" but when you give them constructive criticism, they go all ballistic on you.
And I mean MAD. Like, "OMG WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY DON'T SAY IT AT ALL" kind of mad.
If you say you don't mind bad feedback, then don't freak out when you get it.
If any of you remember, about four or five months ago, I gave a writer feedback, telling them how to improve some spots and areas and IT WASN'T MEAN AT ALL. And the author said things like this: (these are what they really said, but I'm not naming any names for respect)
Well first, she said this (All grammar mistakes and everything are what she said, word for word):
"ok so b4 i start this story i wanna say that you guyz can give me feedback, good or bad i can take it. Enjoy!!!!!!!!"
Right, right? And then I write my so-called "hate", and this is what she said (once again, I copied this word for word):
"really!?!?!? If you don't like it then you don't have to put up your stupid opinions, I'm sorry if I burned you're eyes out and gave you metale damage. Y don't you get off my page and go h8 on sombody else. i just want to let you no...,, that u suck"
So... yep. :D And now I'm considered a "h8er" to her. :D
