Chapter 7 part 2

“How the hell can you call after all you’ve done to us?!” Shay yelled into the phone, a glare set firm on her tear-streaked face.

My eyes widened. “Shay stop!” I yelled at her.

She ignored me. “You’ve changed?! Please Tyra!” Disbelief was clear on her face.

I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. “At least put it on speaker!” I whispered, annoyed.

She put the phone on speaker and I heard Tyra speaking back. “I’m so sorry, Shay! I know I hurt you the most! You deserved a lot better than that. You were the only person who helped me. I can never repay you for that. I owe you my life, Shay.”

Shay remained still. “Just leave us alone. That’s all I want.”

It was quiet for a few seconds. “Alright,” She breathed deeply. “I’m sorry.”

I heard Tyra hang up the phone.

Shay looked expressionless. “There. She wont bother us anymore.”

She gave me my cell phone and walked out of the house without another word.

I stared after her, feeling bad for her. What happened to Tyra was never her fault.

I just wished she would believe that.

I changed into some black skinny jeans and a red blouse.

My cell phone vibrated and I saw a text message from Christopher. “Meet me at my house now.”

I frowned. I hated how he thinks he can tell me what to do and I have no choice but to obey him. When I was finally at his house, I went in and saw him with a huge scowl on his face looking at me with a murdering glance.

I swallowed, afraid. I was never this weak and I hated it. I was always the girl who never showed her emotions and now that he found my weakness he was using it.

“What’s wrong?” I whispered.

He stood up and slapped me hard in the face.

The side of my face stung and tears automatically shone on my eyes.

I put my hand on my face.

“How the fuck dare you?!” He yelled in my face, his face red with anger.

His eyes had turned cold.

“W-What are you talking about?” I whispered, my voice cracking.I hated that I was shaking with fear.

“You were all over Jay you fucking slut!.” He yelled, grabbing my hair and throwing me on the bed.

My back hit the hard, uncomfortable bed.

I started crying as I saw Christopher get on top of me, grabbing me roughly by the hair making me look at him in the eye.

“Did you fuck him?!” He yelled, spit flying. He grabbed his gun with his other hand and put it on the side of my head.

“No! Please stop it Christopher!” I yelled, sobbing.

“Don’t lie to me!” He yelled, his gun never leaving the side of my head.

I continued crying, out of breath from all of the sobbing. “I never slept with him! I’m a virgin!”

His eyes widened, smirking. “You’re a virgin? Its time to change that don’t you think?!”

I looked at him, afraid. “No! Stop it Christopher!”

He ran his hands up my blouse, his hands grabbing my breasts.

I pushed his hands away. “Stop!” I yelled. I had never yelled that loud before.

He unbuckled his pants and threw his pants on the ground. He started unbuttoning my jeans and I thrashed, crying.

“Help!” I yelled, Christopher was too strong.

“Shut up, slut!” He yelled, covering my mouth. I continued sobbing and yelling yet my screams were muffled because of his hand.

Someone opened the door suddenly and I saw the guy at the party that had called him ‘the man’.

His eyes widened as he saw what was happening.

He ran towards Christopher and pulled him away. “What the hell are you doing man?! Don’t do something you’ll regret!”

Christopher glared at him. “Don’t tell me what to fucking do!”

Christopher got off me and I ran out of the room and outside his house, tears going down my cheeks. I ran as far as I could without stopping. I stopped once I was far away, out of breath. I was in an empty park. I walked towards a wooden bench and sat on it. A few minutes passed until It finally sunk that I was almost raped by Christopher. I felt disgusted with myself. How did I get to be so weak? I had to do something about it. I looked down at my hands, not wanting to look up and started crying. I grabbed my hair and pulled it with frustration. My eyeliner was running but I didn’t care. I started sobbing letting out all of my anger, frustration and sadness out. I cried and sobbed for an hour straight when I finally washed away my tears and stood up, walking home. I knew my eyes must have been red and my face smeared with eyeliner but I didn’t care. When I got home, I went straight to the shower. I took my clothes off and looked in the mirror. The side of my face was starting to bruise and my eyes were red and stinging. I looked unrecognizable. I was once a strong, hard-headed girl that never gave up and knew what she wanted in life and now I’m a weak, useless girl. Nothing special. Tears were starting to form again and I let them go down my cheeks. I went to the shower and washed myself, trying to wash away the feel of Christopher’s hands on my body and the fear. I started crying again without making any noise, my tears mixing in with the water. I quickly got dressed and walked to my room. I took out the gun I had illegally bought off of the streets the day I had gotten the shooting lessons and put it on my over the shoulder bag.

I’m not going to be the weak victim anymore.
