I entered through the door, my Mam stood in the hallway with her arms folded.

"You barely contacted me London!" She snapped.

"Sorry Mam. It's just I was having a fun time," I mumbled.

"Sumut coulda' happened to ya, and I wouldn't know!" She continued.

"I'm fine. Well that's a lie - I'm far from fine like," I rubbed my neck.

"Why what's wrong?" She suddenly put her arm round me.

"I just miss Brad, and the boys. I have something to tell yo-"

"You're dating that Brad person? I saw it a bunch a' magazines," she raised an eyebrow.

"Really?" I widened my eyes.

"Ya famous or sumut?"

"I wish," I rolled my eyes. "I'm gonna take my stuff upstairs."

"London!" My Mam called from downstairs.

"What?!"

"What!" I shouted back, louder this time.

"Your friend is here at the door...says her name is June!"

I threw myself up off my bed and raced down the stairs towards her.

"I didn't know you lived here!" I stated, hugging her tightly.

"I literally live a few streets away," she admitted.

"You can stay for a few days if you want?" I offered, my Mam nodding at my suggestion.

"Thank you!" She squeezed my arm and I lead her up toward my bedroom.

"You can sleep in the room next door, but you can stay here until it's time to sleep," I laughed.

"Alright. Your house is so nice. I'm sorry for showing up unexpected, by the way," she smiled and I shrugged.

"It's all good June," I laughed again. "Do you want something to eat?"

"Nah I'm fine," she smiled gratefully. "Do you miss them?"

"What, The Vamps?" I grinned. I would never be able to get used to the fact that I was dating the lead singer of the band I was obsessed with.

"Yeah," she mumbled, and she gave me a solemn smile. I understood that smile. It was a brave face in the midst of missing people we cared more deeply about than anything else.

"I do. It's really depressing," I sighed.

"I've got to tell you something." She blurts, and I frown at her. I nod for her continue.

"I... I like Tristan."

I let out a soft laugh. I think that was pretty obvious.

"I really do, I have to admit. I mean... I could see him being a great boyfriend. I think he likes me too," she smiled happily to herself in reminiscence of the holiday. "We went on a few dates..."

I chuckled at her and then I picked up my phone after it buzzed, realising I had a new DM.

I went back on Twitter and waited for it to load.

Oh my God.

"He said I was beautiful," she played with a piece of her hair, like someone in primary school would do.

I'd been so absorbed in reading the messages that I hadn't listened to what she was saying. Did Brad know?

And watching her talk about him like this made me feel so bad for her.
