"I do"

I'm actually updating two days in a row *gasp* -wordstravelfast

Lizeth's POV:

I stood in front of the huge mirror, smoothing the waistline of my dress. A knbock came to the door and I turned around

"Come in!"

As I looked back in the mirror, I saw a familiar face in the mirror,

"Nathan! What're you doing here?"

"I thought I'd come to see you before the wedding."

I looked at him standing there in his suit and couldnt help but think of how amazing he looked.

"You suited up nicely."

"Well yeah, it's my best friend's wedding!"

'best friends...

I smoothed my dress again and gave a small spin watching the bottom of my dresss twirl. I noticed Nathan staring in the mirror, his mouth open in a cute little gawk.

"Do you like it?"

"I mean- you look- what I mean is- wow."

I blushed and smiled before turning and walking towards him.

"I didn't even greet you properly."

I wrapped my arms around him in a hug and his arms found my waist. He used his thumbs to rub circles and it felt just like it used to. 

You can't think like this. You're about to get married

We broke away and sat on the small loveseat together.

"How've you been?" I asked.

He began to look elsewhere, anywhere away from me.

"I've been better."

"What's happened?"

"I know this is wrong at a time like this and it's been 3 years but I-I'm still in love with you."

I opened my mouth to reply but closed it again.

"I-erm-I think-"

"I'm sorry, I'll just go."

He got up amnd walked to the door and I watched as it closed.

I never got to tell him that I knew I really did still love him. I'm so sorry James.

I looked at James as he spoke the famous words, "I do."

I heard the preacher speak to me but I barely noticed, my eyes wandered towards Nathan in the crowd, his eyes sad. 

"I-I do."

James looked at me confused and I did my best to give him a reassuring smile.

"You may know kiss the bride."

Everyone cheered as James pressed his lips to mine but my thoughts wandered to Nathan and I cut the kiss short. He frowned at me and crushed my wrist as we walked back down the aisle

"I told you we shouldn't have invited Nathan!"

"He's a family friend! I know his family better than my own."

"He still has feelings for you!"

"How do you know I don't still have feelings for him?"

His hand made contact with my cheek and I backed myself up against the wall, tears springing to my eyes.

"You promised you wouldn't."

"I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to, I just-"

"Sorry won't cut it."

"I didn't think-"

"You never think!"

His hand his my cheek harder this time and I head towards the door.

"I don't know what to do anymore."

Tears spilled out of my eyes as I walked out and he yelled my name behind me.

-Flashback-

Nathan's POV:

I saw her eyes flick to me before she spoke, 

"I-I do."

"Does anyhone have any objections to this marriage?"

My hands balled into fists and Mum put her hand on my leg.

"Don't do this Nathan."

"I have to."

Mum sighed as I stood up. 

"I do have a problem actually. I still love you Liz and I can't watch you marry him after everything he's done to you. I'm sorry."

I saw Liz look down and I briskly walked out

Well that was pleasant!! Theres only one more chapter left >.< can you feel the excitement?
