Chapter Five (Part I out of III)

A/N: Hi! This is the long chapter I was talking about in my previous update. I decided to chop it into three parts.

CHAPTER FIVE

With diligence, Serena served Reuben Cervantez as his new secretary. She made great efforts to please the bachelor just so she wouldn't recieve negative comments on her job performance. Lagi niya itong ipinagtitimpla ng masarap na kape. Lagi rin niyang mabusising inaayos ang mga files na kailangan nito bago iabot ang mga iyon sa kamay nito. Kung mayroon mang trabaho siyang makita ay ginagawa na niya iyon nang maagap.

However, despite all the efforts she exerted she never received a positive remark from him. Instead, he even makes a big deal out of a simple typographical error. Kung sigurong hindi English proficient si Serena ay baka kinutya na nito pati ang grammar niya. Bad news for Reuben, mamumuti muna ang mga mata niya bago siya makakita ng ungrammatical dahil Ingles ang isa sa mga paboritong subject ni Serena noong nag-aaral pa siya. Kahit pa labandera lang ang kanyang ina ay nagawa naman siya nitong pag-aaralin at pagtapusin ng kursong Business Administration.

They didn't talk much aside from having conversations about work. They never talked about the night they shared. Reuben never mentioned anything about it and Serena didn't dare to open the topic. Wala ring nagbanggit ng kahit ano tungkol sa pananampal niya sa lalaki o sa utos nitong maghubad siya kung ayaw niyang maalis sa trabaho.

Somehow, it made Serena sad. Like all of the things that happened between them weren't important. Like she's just a stranger to him, totally insignificant.

Gano'n na lang ba iyon? Gano'n lang ba kadali rito na kalimutan siya?

But then, she thought maybe she could try to seduce him for fun. She finds him very appealing and with his his big, fat c-ck, and his big, fat bank account savings he's really a big catch after all.

Every time she would go to work, she makes sure that her makeup is good and that she wears something sexy that accentuates her curves but still looks decent.

Bukod sa natunghayan niyang pagiging bastos nito sa ex-girlfriend nitong si Angeline ay wala naman siyang nakitang nagkaproblema ito sa iba. People respected him and in a certain aspect, she also did. He just seems to have a temper about people's mistake. He is very meticulous when it comes to his employees' performance-A thing that Serena understands. That trait is inevitable for someone who dreams to make his company prosper.

Reuben is the only child of his parents and he's currently taking over his father's company. Sa edad na trenta'y uno ay bilyon bilyon na ang perang meron ito. And those money came from his own blood and sweat. His father's wealth had nothing to do with it. He was in his early twenty's when he started his own business. Lumago nang lumago iyon sa sarili niyang pamamalakad. And he actually threatened his father to be one of his biggest competitor. But it was of no use. Sa kanya rin naman mapupunta lahat ng pag-aari ng ama. Since then, hinayaan na siya ng ama niya na siya na ang humawak sa negosyo. He made big expansions, and now he owns several hotels and malls nationwide. Mayroon din silang mangilan-ngilang establisyimyento sa ibang bansa na pinagtutulungan nilang i-manage ng ama.
