After you yelled, you had to calm down.
"what do you mean by what you know?" Dave asked. You sigh and look down.
" Karkat is the true heir to the throne! Eridan is the king now. When Karkat was born, Eridan took the throne from Karkat's father. We all call him CrabDad. When Karkat was born, his father tried to take care of him because his mother died in labor. Eridan, who was the right hand man to CrabDad, saw this as a sign of weakness and overthrew him." you said softly. " and to top it off, a merman named Sollux was assigned to be karkats royal guard from the second both of them were born. It's something that we merpeople do. If they are together from birth, a friendship will grow so that the guard will do his job -- not only as a guard, but also as a friend. Karkat fell hard for Sollux and... Well, Sollux did love Karkat, but he tried to stay loyal to his guard code. Soon, he got upset and came to me asking me to help him overthrow Eridan and well... a spy was listening and told Eridan....the next day, Sollux was sent out on a scout mission alone and never came back...." you added, looking up at them. Dave just looks confused " what does any of this have to do with john"? He asked. " john is a reincarnation, therefore, he has the power to end Eridan. He is friends with the real heir to the throne, so that puts him in danger." You said as Dirk and Dave both looked confused. You growl some " John can take the throne from Eridan for Karkat's sake. Eridan knows this, so he hates them both and would do anything to stop them. Money's been placed on their heads" you said slowly as both of them finally got it " THEN what are we waiting for!?" Dave yelled. "you need to stay...." you said, looking at Dave. "what?! no! fuck you, i'm going. dirk over there probably can't change into a merperson, but i did it and i can probably do it again." Dave defended himself. "but you need to stay with the baby". You said as Dirk looks at you . " i can stay. its no big deal" he said looking at the baby. "....well....dave ...no. just stay. i will go alone and bring them back..... okay..?" you said without even giving them a chance to say no. You dive into the water, swimming away fast.

It's been about 3 hours now and they haven't come back. " fuck this - im going" you said walking knee deep into the water. " dave look" dirk said. You look and the baby was in the middle of building a sand castle.
".....on second thought...i'm taking him with me" you walk back and pick up your son . ".....i got it" you make a makeshift baby sling with a shirt. You put your son who was asleep in the sling so he is resting on your chest. " aw what the fuck man " dirk groans. " shut up dont wanna come back to a dead baby sand pile." with that you walk head deep in the water. You made sure the baby was breathing the water before continuing. The pain came back but it was more dull than before. You grow your webbed hands, your tail, and your gills back. You take off swimming slow, holding your child. "where are they" you said swimming around. You get to the that cut off from you and a big cliff. You were about to turn back when a blue shining scale caught your eye. "..john" you said swimming down and picking it up. "please tell me you didn't go down here.......you did didn't you...fuck..." you said before swimming into the dark black pit. The darkness was like a cloud that swallowed you whole. The more you swim down the more it gets harder to see. " JOOOHHNN" you yelled out trying to hear if john calls back. Nothing. You grumble before you felt little hands wrap around your chest. You looks down to see kai hugging you. He had the cutest look on his face as his small legs turn to a tail. " what is it? hungry? i dont have any food." you said petting him. Kai sneezes and the black dust was pushed away and you could see where you were going for the most part. " wow...maybe you will be useful " you said in a joking tone before swimming in a direction. You soon started to see more blue scales. Like it was a trail leading deeper into the pit of what you assume was hell. "well i guess we're on the right track...." you said, looking down at kai. He was laying in the sling with his head peeking out as he watched you swim after the trail. You collect about 14 scales before the trail went cold at a fork in the path. It went 2 ways. " right....left....right. ..left...right" you started to swim right when kai bit your chest hard. "Ow ow fine left Jesus" you corrected yourself and went left. This path went to a dead end " good job kai wrong way" you said glaring at him. He looks uo at you then back at a wall before wrapping himself up in thw small sling like he was hiding. " whats wrong little one?" you went to take him out but a big net was thrown on you making you sink into the ground. The more you tried to get out the more it wrapped around you. A merman with shades of red and blue was hovering over you. He also had two horns like karkats one pair but his were bigger and more sharp. He hit you in the back of the head making you go to sleep for awhile
