River handed me the ringing phone as I glared at him I wanted to hang the phone up and just call David I just didn't know his number. I also didn't want to talk to Tiffany because I remember getting in a huge fight with her last night

 

"Hello?" I heard Tiffany bodyguard Mark answers the phone as I pressed it to my ear

 

"Hi mark, can I speak with Tiffany please" I said irritated and the phone was silent for a moment, I could hear them speaking in the background, but it was muffled and not clear about what they were saying.

 

"Hello, Jane you there" I heard her say kind of frantic

 

"Yeah I'm here" I said still angry with at her

 

"Are you feeling okay? River better not be being and ass to you after what happened" Tiffany rambled on like this for a few moments until I heard her saying my name "hello Jane are you still there? Jane answers me?"

 

"I feel fine just a little hung over, can you give me David number River won't give me my phone back and I need to call him" I said irritated and picking at the fabric on my shirts

 

"Why, do you want to talk to that bastard, did river not tell you what happened last night? Where is he?" I heard her say and my anger flared more

 

"River left the room to get ready for school, but he told me some horrible lies about David, just like you did last night, I need his number now please!" I said in a shouting tone

 

"River is telling you the truth Jane, he drugged you so he could sleep with you, don't believe me, get online and check out his Facebook" she shouted back at me and I leaned down and pulled the laptop out from under my bed

 

"I don't see what the point of checking Facebook is" I said as it was turning on

 

"Just do it and if you still want his number after you see it, then I'll give it to you" she said as I got up and started dressing in my uniform.

 

"Okay I'm online what am I looking for?" I said irritated that I had to do this

 

"Go to his page, and read his latest update and the comments" I did as she said

 

The page seemed to take forever to load and I was getting frustrated because river could be back any moment and would stop me if I tried calling him. Once the page was up I scrolled down a little and say David's relationship status that said single to in a relationship with Casey Weldon. My heart stopped beating as a few tears fell down my face.
