At Last (Harry Styles)

*7 months ago*



“Harry can I talk to you?” I said walking into the bedroom to find my boyfriend of one year on his phone.



“Sure baby, c’mon.” he said patting a spot next to him on the bed.



I walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, and Harry sat up his face fell into a frown.



“So, umm I was feeling sort of sick…” I started. “Are you ok? Why didn’t you tell me? Oh babe, lay down.” Harry said talking a mile a minute.



“No, Harry I’m fine…umm.” I said chuckling. “I actually want to tell you something.”



“Ok what is it?” he said pulling my hands apart entwining our fingers.



“I umm I went to the doctor and umm, she wanted to run a few tests, simply procedure.” I said starting to feel like this wasn’t going to go well.



“Okay…?” he said hinting for me to go on.



“And the results for one test came back positive…umm it was the umm…the pregnancy test…” I finally spit it out.



I looked up at his face trying to see a reaction or to judge his reaction.



“Well…” I said trying to get him to respond. “That’s umm wow…” he said scooting farther up the bed away from me. “How? I mean when?” he questioned me.



“She said about 2 month ago…” I said looking down at my suddenly more interesting feet.



“Oh…umm…” he said and I could tell he was going to break up with me. He’s a 19 year old, world wide musician there’s no way he wants a child let alone a pregnant girlfriend.



“Ok I get it you don’t have to say it. You don’t want to be with me anymore…” I started.



“(Y/N)” Harry said trying to get me to stop.



I got up off the bed and started to walk towards the door still mumbling, “I should have just left.” “I screwed up the best year in my life, I’m so pathetic…” I said but was stopped.



Harry grabbed my arm and turned me around so I was facing his chest.



Tears were streaming down my face, so fast but I didn’t notice them. “(Y/N) listen to me!” he said pleading with me.



“No I know what your going to say I get that you don’t want to be with me anymore…” I said.



“Baby stop!” Harry said. “I love you so much! You are the best person I have ever met, I don’t know what I would do without you. You complete me, understand me and make me feel so special. Other girls in the past could never compare to you on the slightest. I love you (Y/N).” he said then kissed me passionately.



“I am so excited for this baby, I’m going to be a dad.” Harry said pushing me back a little to look at my stomach.



“Yes you are.”



*Present Day*



Harry POV.



(Y/N) just went into labour and is handling it really well. I am so in awe of her right now, I look at her so much differently. She is the mother of my child, we have an unbreakable bond.



I have been waiting for her to give birth because I can’t wait to meet our beautiful daughter.



I also have been planning something.



*10 hours later*



“Congratulations mom and dad on your 100% healthy baby girl!” the nurse said laying our daughter in (Y/N)’s arms.



Ava Mackenzie Styles 



I know I said I like the name Darcy but this name fit her.



“Look at her, she’s perfect!” (Y/N) said slowly tracing her finger down Ava’s cheek.



“She is, isn’t she…” I said looking up at (Y/N), well now or never.



“(Y/N)…” I started. She glanced up at me, eyes wide and brimming with happy tears.



“…so I have been thinking. We have had the best year and a half together and know we have a child together. I am so in love with you and have been since I laid eyes on you. You are so amazing and caring and the sweetest girl I have ever been with, no other girls compare to you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and our daughter. I could never picture my life without you, will you marry me?”



She looked at me again, tears streaming down her face.



“Yes, of course I will marry you Harry!” she said wiping her tears away with her one free hand.
