After his return to Canada, he searched for her at the condo unit only to be told that she has moved
out months ago. He also tried Ashburnham Place but it was already sold too. His only hope then was
Donnelly's email. He was praying for a miracle that this email is still active as he told him before that
he will be stationed abroad for a new job. He waited for weeks until one day when his phone
rang, with Donnelley on the other end.
" Q! I'm glad you made it buddy! We were so worried about you after we watched the news! I
" It was a miracle that I am still here talking to you right now. Before we chat, where is she?" I went to
the condo and her place in Ashburnham, and she's not there. "
" Allison is actually here with me right now and she wants to talk to you. I think you better ask her that
question coz I have no idea where Elle is right now.
" Kerr! Oh my God! You're alive! Just like what Elle told me!" Allison was quite hysterical so he is
finding it hard to understand what she is saying to him on the phone. Allison was crying and
incomprehensible as she narrated how Elle kept her hope that he will be found safe and sound so he
can be present at their wedding. When he failed to arrive, she cried for days but still waited for
months for his return.
" Allison... stay focused and please calm down. I am now here but Elle is nowhere to be found. Do you
know where she is?"
" I'm sorry Kerr. I'm just so happy to know that you're alive. Yes, I know where she is. She went back to
the Philippines to be with her Dad. But the problem is, I don't have her address. The last time I got an
email from her was 2 months ago. She has a small gallery in the city."
" Do you remember the name of the city? "
" Hmmm. I can spell it for you. Grab a pen and I'll spell it for you."
" M..I.S..I..B..I..S bay. That's the name of the area where she lives right now."
" Thank you Allison. I'm sorry if I'm rushing you. I need to get there as soon as possible. Waiting is not
part of my plan anymore. We waited for so long and I want to see here now. We'll talk to you guys
once I got there." Kerr googled her name in that area and bingo! He found her gallery address. He did
not waste any more time, indeed. He took the next available flight to Legazpi City.
