Donnelley has lingering questions on his mind as well. The confirmation that Q and Kerr were the

same person was too much to bear, not only for Elle and Allison but much more for Donnelley. Now

that Q found Elle, why didn't he cancel his trip back to Africa so they can be together? Why did he

refuse his invitation to be present at his wedding and chose to leave her again? Why Q?

Donnelley,

I just want you to know how happy I am that you finally found your one. Only a few people are like

you, settling down with a very special person. I found my one a few years ago but I lost her, now,

she's

lost forever. I know that you are a good man and you will be the best husband that she can have.

Please continue loving each other and never let anything come between you.

I wish I can be present at your wedding but my job required me to return early. Rest assured though

that my spirit will be with you and Elle on your special day.

Thank you for being the best buddy for me and I will always pray for you and Elle to have a glorious

life forever.

Sincerely yours,

QF

Allison was reading Q's two week old email to Donnelley. She's been crying like a lost puppy. "We

could have reunited them. Now, it's too late."

"I was so busy that I forgot to check my email. God! I wished I read it earlier. I could have prevented

him from returning to Africa. He left because he thought I was marrying Elle, the woman he waited for

all these years. But where did he get this wrong notion? Now I know why he turned down my

invitation to be the bestman and why he eventually left before the wedding. And who in his right mind

will accept the bestman role at your ex's wedding?

He must really have loved Elle after all these years not to say anything to her despite his knowledge

that she's getting married soon. And to wish me and her the best in life despite the horrible pain he

feels in his heart. That's the greatest love of all, no doubt about it."

'' Don, I forgot to tell you this but they actually reconnected weeks ago and has gone out several times

specially after the arrival of Charlene, Kerr's younger sister and Elle's bestfriend in high school. Elle

was puzzled that he did not say anything to her. We need to do something about this. We both know

that they did not stop loving each other. We need to end this... for them."

''This is really tough Allison. Africa is a continent. Where on earth are we going to start? Besides we

only have a week for our wedding, too. Listen Allison. We'll find a way and if not through us, destiny

will make them find each other again. I really believe that. They deserve to be happy, we both know

that already. But we are not them. All I can do is to correct Q's misconception. And the next step will

be theirs. It's their love story that they are rewriting Allison. We can only give them the tools but we

should never do the work for them. ''

"I just want Elle to have somebody when I leave. I don't want to leave Elle by herself.''

They replied immediately to Q's email and the waiting game begun. They both prayed that Q receives

the email just in time for their wedding, a perfect ending for Elle and Kerr's love story. Unfortunately,

they never got a response. Elle did not say anything but Allison knew her fully well. Once again, she is

hurting. Not the kind of hurt years ago but something else. The reality that he was not honest enough

about his feelings and that he did not fight for her, if she is to believe that his feelings did not change

with time. Allison also realized that it wasn't nostalgia that bothered Elle during her first encounter

with Kerr but the revival of their old feelings and memories together. That meeting announced the

rebirth of her love for him which she buried under the pretense of bad memories.

This is the missing link to forever :D

This chapter is very important to the next sequence of events. I am forewarning you that the next

chapter might shock some, if not all of you. But I'd like to leave this to you:

'' IT'S NOT WHAT IT SEEMED TO BE.''
