Chapter 20

Being pregnant is much harder than I expected. How am I going to do this for 6 more months?

My belly feels like it's a beer belly, I'm hungry all the time, and I'm always nauseous.

I know that I'm growing a human inside of me, but this is hard work!

"Tyler. I'm so tired. I'm so hungry. And none of my clothes fit. How am I going to do this?"

I let the tears fall, for what seemed like the millionth time today.
He wrapped his strong arms around me and in that moment I remembered why I was ok with this. I did want this, I do want this.

I set my hands gently on my belly, and I leaned back against my man.

"I love you. I don't know what I would do without you. I wouldn't be here."

He reached around and put his hands on top of mine.

"I know baby. I love you too."

Just at that point I felt a sharp pain in my lower stomach.

I saw blood, and everything went black.
