Our eldest son lives in Iceland and one of his friends unexpectedly received a speeding fine through the post that outraged him. He didn't see how it had occurred or why he should pay it and photocopied the fine document with the required amount of cash pictured on top of it and sent the copy off to the police authority within the required time limit.
Quite soon afterwards he received a letter in reply from the authority containing a photocopy of the original fine document and a pair of handcuffs.
In the next letter he sent the cash with the document.
