Hi!

Sorry for the slow updates again, I've had a bad case of writer's block and I just moved again. Hopefully I can clear my head and start updating more. Please comment what you liked or didn't like and feel free to tell me what you might want to see happen next! xx Lennie

Perrie

Adam wasn't who I was meant to be with. Zayn was who I was meant to be with. Adam was charming and perfect in front of his friends, but once we were hidden away, he hurt me with his words and with his hands. He tricked me into this façade of a relationship that I could see no end to. I tried to tell him about how hard it was for me to be intimate with him, but most times he forced me into doing what he wanted.

But I loved him. I loved him.

I watched Mia tangle herself with Zayn as my waist was held captive by Adam's firm grip. I didn't tell Niall or Harry. I hid it all well enough. I didn't tell them that I'd gotten sick again. I didn't tell them that I was ready to end it all. The night that Adam had beat me so much that I was unable to move was the night that I decided that it wasn't worth it anymore. Even though I knew that he was happy with Mia, I rang Zayn's familiar number for the last time.

"Hello?" he answered sadly.

"Z," I said shakily.

"Pez?"

"Pookie, I can't do this anymore," I cried. "I've got to end it."

"You're going to break up with Adam?" he asked.

"No, Z. I'm ending it. Everything. I just rang to say goodbye and that I love you so much. I'll always love you."

"What?" he panicked. "Honey, don't move, I'm coming, okay?"

"No, I can't see you. I'll chicken out."

"Chicken out! Pooh bear, don't do anything. I'm coming to you." I heard the car engine rev. "I'm coming for you."

"I need you, Z," I cried. "I might die without seeing you. Please hurry. Don't ring my mam or Ni or Harry or I'll never forgive you just please come help me or I'll never see you again."

"Stop! I'll be right there. Stay on the line with me." By the time he got to my house, I was already unconscious.

Zayn

I had never driven faster in my life than when Perrie stopped speaking on the phone. Her speech was already slurred, but when she stopped answering, the speedometer jerked to 100. I climbed up the tree to her room and forced the window open. She wasn't in her bedroom so I ran to the bathroom. There, I was faced with my worst nightmare. She was curled up in the bathtub with blood running from her wrists and there were two empty bottles of her antidepressant medicines on the ground. My heart was beating uncontrollably as I crawled into the bathtub and tried to wake her up.

"Pez, this isn't funny, babe," I panicked. Her head lolled around as her shallow breathing slowed even more. Police. Thank God I had the sense to ring an ambulance. Tears ran down both of my cheeks as I pulled her close to me in the small tub. "Baby, wake up. I'm so sorry for everything that went wrong. Please don't leave me like this. I love you so much, please wake up." I clutched her small, fragile body tightly as ambulance sirens rang in the distance and footsteps thundered up the steps.

"Perrie!" Niall screamed. He glanced at me for half of a second before he pulled his sister away from me and into his arms. He held her tightly and I saw the unfathomable pain in his eyes. I knew without him saying that he was hurting because he couldn't protect her from herself. He hugged her as if he longed to absorb the pain that she felt so that she could be the person she was before she went through this hell.
