23: you completed me

Cielo's POV:

"I won't be going home for tonight, ate." Walang emosyon kong saad kay ate.

"What? Why? Is something wrong? Where are you?" Sunod sunod nyang tanong mula sa kabilang linya.

"Well..." Humithit ako sa hawak kong sigarilyo at bumuga ng usok. "... I'm at Sun's house. She's a bit sad right now because her parents won't be coming home for her birthday. She asked me to stay and I can't just leave her alone."

Matagal bago naka sagot si ate. Tila pinoproseso nya pa ang lahat ng sinabi ko.

"I-is that so? That poor girl. Well, just make sure you don't cause her trouble, ok? Cheer her up, Cielo. Tell her to come over for her birthday celebration. Ipagluluto ko sya." tugon ni ate.

"Yeah, sure, ate. I'll hang up. Good night."

"Good night, Cielo."

Saktong pagpatay ko ng tawag ay naramdaman ko si Sun na nag lalakad palapit sa akin.

"Is that ate Shiela?" Nakangiti nyang tanong.

"Yeah. I just told her that I won't be coming home tonight. She also told me, that you should drop by on your birthday. She said she'll cook for you." Idinuldol ko ang baga ng sigarilyo sa simentadong railings ng balkonahe upang patayin iyon.

"That sounds nice." nakangiti nyang tugon. "I've prepared the guest room for you. You should rest, Cielo. You must be tired." 

She's smiling at me and I think she's feeling better than before. Ngunit nag aalinlangan parin ako dahil sa lungkot na nakikita ko sa mga mata nya. 

"Are you feeling better now, Sun?" malumanay kong tanong sa kanya habang nag lalakad kami sa hallway papunta sa guest room na sinasabi nya, 

"I would be lying if I told you I was fine but..." huminto sya sa tapat ng isang pinto sa dulo ng pasilyo upang harapin ako. "... you're here now, Cielo. Everthing's fine when I'm with you." she flashed a smile and I can't help but to smile back. "You should rest. Good night, Cielo. Sleep well."

"Good night, Sun. Sleep well." 

Pinanood ko syang maglakad palayo at pumasok sa isang silid di kalayuan sa kinaroroonan ko. Pumasok  na din ako sa guest room na sinasabi nya and I was amazed. 

It doesn't look like a guest room at all. Although the interior design is pure white, the bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a set of tea table and sofas, and a balcony and a small restroom. 

"She sure is living in luxury." I mumbled to myself as I entered the bathroom. 

I took a quick shower and put on the bathrobe I found in the restroom before I lay on a comfy bed. At dahil sa pagod at malamig na AC ay mabilis akong nakatulog.

Sun's Pov:

I woke up in the middle of the night due to a soft whimpering sound coming from the guest room.

'Is that Cielo?'

Bumangon ako sa kama at nag lakad palabas ng kwarto. Tinungo ko and guest room kung saan ko sya iniwan at habang palapit ako ng palapit ay mas lalong lumalakas and mga hikbing naririnig ko. 

Pag bukas ko ng pinto ay agad na bumungad sa akin si Cielo na nahihimbing ng tulog sa kama and I was right. She's whimpering as though she's experiencing a great pain.

Nag mamadali akong naglakad palapit sa kanya at pinagmasdan ang muka nya. She's frowning and shaking as if she's experiencing some form of discomfort at may mga luhang kumakawala mula sa mga mata nya.
