A/N: The New Chapter 26!

So,... I added, rewrote, and other stuff...
Took me awhile. And the ONLY reason I didn't upload yesterday was because I fell asleep on my couch! ha I woke up and I was like damn. :P

I did upload it two day ago if you were one of the lucky few hundreds to read it.
But, like, I went to rewrite/fix spelling while using my phone browser, and then went back to read it, and it only showed five pages, and page five was blank... I was like "What the hell!".. So basically in a nut shell it cut off two whole pages. I was freaking out for about three hours, and then finally decided to delete it.

But yeah so you few hundred or more that read the original chapter 26 you might want to go back and reread it. I added about 4 more parts to it! ;)

Also Miles is in here!

I finally decided he should be a main character-ish! :)

~You Are The Only Exception: {Teacher/Student Relationship}~

Chapter 26

_________________________________________________________

I felt cold, and I opened my eyes to see why? Only half of my body was covered. I sighed, and pulled the covers back over my body. I felt a hand on my stomach, and smiled when I turned my head to see that Everett was still sleeping. I looked at the alarm clock to see it was almost nine in the morning, and turned back to the window to see the sun barely shining through the curtains.

I carefully lifted his arm off my stomach, and placed it on the bed. I pulled down the shirt I was wearing, and smiled when I knew it was Everett's. I mentally thanked myself for putting back on my undergarments when I took a trip to the bathroom during the night.

I remember I'd seen his shirt on the floor tossed near the foot of the bed, and pulled it on. It wasn't too big on me,... just a smidge. Okay, maybe I was lying.  At least it was long enough to cover my cold thighs.

I also remember seeing Everett rubbing one of his eyes, as he propped up on his right forearm to  support his body. He squinted to see me, and then his eyes widened in surprise. I saw him smirking, as he looked me up and down. "You look sexy." Just his husky voice made a small shiver go up my spine. "Come back to bed." He lifted the covers, and I crawled back in. He kissed my forehead, and I snuggled more into him as he wrapped his arms around me, and we drifted back to sleep.

I smiled at the memory, and opened my eyes again, and looked back toward Everett. He was sleeping peacefully, and I didn't want to wake him up. I sat up slowly, trying not to move the bed too much. I crossed my legs, and turned around to face him. I noticed one of his hands had the palm facing up, and I placed my hand in his.

His hand instantly curled around mine. I smiled at our hands. "Michelle." I heard him murmured. I looked up to see if he was awake, but he wasn't. His breathing was the same, and his eyes were shut. I tilted my head to the side. Maybe I'm hearing thing. I let out a small sigh, and then I heard it again. "Michelle."

I looked up just in time to see him closing his mouth. I laughed through my nose. I tried to pull my hand away, but his grip tightened. "Evere--" I started.

"Don't leave me." I gasped, and covered my mouth with my free hand. "Don't leave me ... I love you." he murmured.

'Oh my god.' I mouthed. I decided to try something. I leaned closer to him, carefully as to not move the bed too much. Never mind, it's stupid. I sighed loudly. "Everett." I whispered.

I saw the frown that appeared on his face disappear, and the next words had my heart beating ten times faster. "Yes." he murmured, and the grip he had on my hand tightened. "Marr-." but he stopped.

'Oh my god.' I gasped again. What did he just say? I felt my palm begin to clam up. He wasn't going to say, what I thought he was going to say. Was he? "No." I whispered to myself. "He wouldn't." I sighed in frustration. I was so confused.

I looked down at his bare chest, and sighed in relief when I remember he was wearing his sweat pants. I bit my lower lip when I thought of a brilliant idea. He always likes to tease me so...

I started tracing his abs, and I bit my cheek to keep from laughing, when he started to move around. I stopped, and sighed. I reached over him to grab my phone, and turned off the alarm. I was sure all the moving I was doing would wake him up, but it didn't. I wonder if he's really tired.

I kissed his cheek, and whispered in his ear, again. "Everett." He stirred a little, and I moved my lips to his neck. "Everett."

He groaned, and I felt his hand go to my thigh. "What." he sighed, and covered his eyes with one of his arms.

I felt bad for waking him up. "I'm sorry." I whispered.

I heard him chuckle. "It's fine. What's wrong." he asked, and removed his arm to look at me.

I put my hands in my lap, and bit my lower lip. I wonder if he remembered he was suppose to take me to the beach. "N-nothing." I stuttered, and looked away.

I felt his hand massage my thigh. "I didn't forget babe." I looked down at him, and saw him smiling at me. "We'll leave in a little bit, okay?"

I nodded, and forced on a smile. "Okay. I didn't mean to--"

He pulled me down on top of him, and kissed me. "I said it's fine." he breathed out. "It was time for me to wake up anyway." I looked away embarrassed at my position. I was now straddling his waist.

I tried to get off, but he held onto my waist tightly. "Everett." I groaned.

"What?" I looked down at him to see him smirking. "You look hot by the way." He pulled at his shirt I was wearing.

I puffed out my cheeks, and pursed my lips. He couldn't say one thing like 'Good morning' or 'How did you sleep'. Oh no, it had to be that. "No 'how did you sleep'. You start the day with that." I put my hands on his chest, and started pushing. "You're a jerk."

"That's not what you thought last night." I looked up at his face to see him smirking.

My jaw dropped. I quickly closed my mouth, and glared at him. "Ass." I slapped his chest, and once one of his hands went up to rub the now red spot, I jumped off the bed. I only took about two or three steps until long fingers wrapped around my wrist.

His hands then rested on my shouldered. "I'm sorry." He whispered in my neck. One of his hands trailed down my shoulder, then my arms, and soon wrapped around mine. "Come back to bed." Me of course being stubborn, I shook my head. "Please." He tugged slightly, but I wouldn't budge. "Babe, please." I sighed, and he soon, had me in the same position that I was in before.

"Jerk." I murmured, and he sighed loudly. I thought I said that to myself, oops. I bit my lower lip, and frowned. He pursed his lips, and smoothed out the wrinkled in my forehead with one of his fingers.

"You look more beautiful with a smile." He gave me a smile, and I couldn't help but return it with a small one of my own.

He chuckled at something, and I arched one of my eyebrows. "Good morning beautiful." His hands went up to my cheeks, and I stilled. I placed my hands on his stomach.

I remember some lyrics or a song that started off like that. I couldn't remember the name but I did remember the next line. I rolled off him, and sank into the bed. I pulled the covers to my neck, and snuggled into them.

He put his arms around me, and pulled me against his chest. "How was your night." he sang softly.

I looked up at him, and smiled. "Mine was wonderful with you by my side." I sang back, and rest one of my hands on his chest.

"And when I open my eyes, and see your sweet face." He leaned his forehead against mine, and caressed one of my cheeks with his hand. "It's a good morning beautiful day." and with that last line being said, he rolled on top of me, straddling my hips, and kissed me.

My eyes were wide with surprise, and one of my legs bent upward, and my knee went straight to his crotch.

He broke the kiss, and groaned in pain. One of his hands went to grab his crotch, while the other supported his weight. I was kind of scared that he would crush me.

"Oh my god." I gasped, and put a hand over my mouth. "Everett."

The only reply I got was another groan. His forehead rested on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry." I bit my lip to keep from laughing. I grabbed his face, and saw his eyes were shut, and I felt his hand still on his crotch. "Everett." I bit my lip to keep from laughing. "Don't be such a baby." I laughed out.

"You must really love me." He groaned but pulled his hand away.

"I'm sorry." I whispered and pecked his lips.

"Oh no you don't. A peck won't suffice now." His lips came crashing on mine. I couldn't help but laugh, and smile against his lips. His lips went to my neck, and he started placing butterfly kisses on the side of my neck.

I giggled, and pushed against his chest. "Stop." I laughed, and leaned away from him.

He pulled away from my neck and looked at me. "Does that tickle?" I bit my lower lip. He smirked, and did it again.

"Okay, okay!" I laughed, and pushed away his hands that were tickling my waist. "It does tickle."

He chuckled, and  climbed off the bed, and kissed my temple. "I'm going to shower." and then he kissed my nose. "Then you can." I smiled, and nodded. He moved away, to grab a pair of boxers, and then some swim trunks. I felt my eyes grow heavily, but I fought to keep awake. I heard him chuckle, and then his face hovered over mine. "Sleep babe, I'll wake you up when I'm done."

With that being said, my eyes closed, but I never really feel asleep. I stretched, and climbed off the bed to my suit case. I grabbed my new bikini my Mom had bought me, and smiled when it was just a plaining deep sea green one. Nothing to fancy, or flashy, and it covered enough. I grabbed another new pair of jean shorts, and grabbed a white shirt that had my favorite basketball team on the front of it.

I heard the bathroom door open, and I looked up, and saw Everett in the mirror. He was only wearing a towl, and it hung low on his way. His hair was wet, and from where I was you could see the water droplets on his chest, and back. I held my clothes against my chest tightly. Everett ran a hand through his wet hair.

He turned around, and closed his eyes, and tilted his head towards the ceiling.

What is he thinking about? I sighed, and quietly walked over to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist, and I felt him tense. I felt his gaze on me and he relaxed. He wrapped one of his arms around my shoulders.

"Tell me what your thinking?" I murmured against his chest.

"Nothing." he whispered.

I pulled away a slightly to look up at him. His gaze was still on the ceiling. "Do you love me." I whispered.

His head snapped down to look at me. "Of course I love you."

I tilted my head to the side. "Are you thinking about a dream you had?"

"Uh, yeah actually. You were leaving me, and I got scared because I didn't want to loose you."

I smiled and kissed him. "I don't want you to leave me either."

He rested his forehead against mine. "Good." and then he smiled. "I'm glad we feel the same way, because your stuck with me now."

I smiled, and pulled away from him. "I have to shower."

He smirked. "Of course."

I quickly took a shower, and put on my bikini. I sighed when there wasn't a mirror in the bathroom. "Damn hotels." I murmured. I grabbed my shorts and shirt, and walked out of the bathroom. I looked at myself, and I saw Everett sitting on the bed with the remote in his hand, but his eyes were on me. I turned around to face him. "Do I look okay?" and I blushed.

I heard him laugh, so I looked up to see him walking towards me. "Okay? You look hot." He winked at me, and went behind me to untie the strings on my bikini.

"Hey!" I yelled and covered my chest to keep the piece from riding up.

I felt his hot breath on my neck. "Relax Michelle. I'm just fixing it." He retied my strings tighter, and kissed my neck. I leaned back into his chest, and he gently began sucking my skin. I groaned inwardly, not wanting to pull away.

I turned around to look at him. A blush was clearly on my face. "Want me to redo yours?" he opened his mouth to protest, but I already had my hands on the string that held up his swim trunks.

I started laughing when he looked down at me in surprise. I let go of the strings. "I think you need to fix this." he pointed down to his undone strings, and a smirk played at his lips.

I laughed sheepishly. "Fine." I grabbed the strings again and retied them. After that I put on my jean shorts, and T-shirt. I pulled my hair back in a loose ponytail, and brushed my teeth.

I barely turned around, and Everett lips were on mine. He pulled back before I could respond. "Ready to go?"

"Yes!" I grinned.

"Alright, well let's get going." He grabbed a bag, and we headed out the door.

He closed the door, then grabbed my hand. "How long until we get there?"

He looked down at me then smiled. "Uh, I think about fifteen minutes or so. It's in the padre islands."

"Are there gift shops over there?" I leaned against his arm.

"Yes. Would you like to go to one before we leave?" I just nodded, and I felt him kissed my forehead.

----------------------------------

We made it in time for the continental breakfast at the top floor. I grabbed a plate, and placed three pancakes, a huge scoop of eggs, and a blueberry muffin. I sat down at the table we were given, and grinned when I saw the view of the ocean, and docks.

I looked up at Everett who sat across from me, and smiled. My smile faltered a bit at his facial expression. His eyes were wide, and his mouth was slightly open, he quickly regained his posture.

"What?" I laughed.

"Uh, nothing. I just didn't know you were that hungry, that's all." He eyed my plate, and then me.

"I don't know, I just grabbed. I think my stomach was picking the amount for me." I shrugged, and poured some syrup.

"It's fine. I like my girl with some appetite." I looked up to see him smirking, and then when our eyes connected he winked.

I rolled my eyes. "Your..." I sighed, and shook my head.

"Handsome. Hot. Muscular. The best boyfri-"

I cut him off. "Stupid. Self-absorbed. Narsasstic. Can't get over himself. "

"Hey!"

"What?" I tilted my head to the side, and smiled innocently.

He smiled, and laughed through his nose. "I was kidding. You know I love you."

I let a huge breath through my mouth. "Well, bummer." I pouted, and shrugged. "Cause I don't think I feel the same." I shrugged again, and popped a piece of pancake in my mouth. "Unless your way of showing me how much you love me is... or has been lacking."

"Oh your so getting it tonight." he whispered.

I frowned, at what he said. What am I getting tonight? A present? I frowned more. What did I say? I couldn't remember. Was it sexual? I didn't mean for it to be sexual.

Everett just smirked, and gave me a knowing look.

By the time my brain processed what he said,... I think it was about three minutes later. Three minutes of silence, and playing a guessing game with myself. "Oh god." I laughed loudly.

I looked up at Everett, to see him grinning. "Tonight. Just you wait."

"No no no no." I said quickly. "I'm sorry. Really sorry!" I felt my heart hammering in my chest.

"Ah ah. Too late." he shook his head.

"Everett." I whined.

"Yes?" He took a bite of his apple.

"Please?"

"Nope."

"Everett!" I whispered harshly.

"Yes?" I saw apple bits in his mouth. He's did that on purpose.

I closed my eyes, and shook my head. " Never mind." I sighed.

He smirked. "I hope your ready."

"No, I won't be."

He raised an eyebrow. "Your not ready for the beach?"

The beach. What is he talking about. "I thought we were talking about... You weren't talking about..." I couldn't say it, I sighed in frustration.

I stared at him, and he smirked that stupid smirk. "Oh, your getting both. That's for sure."

I felt my cheeks blaze. "Oh my god, I can't wait for tonight!" Fake enthusiasm laced through my words, and I did my best impression of a bubble-y person, and flipped my pony tail over my shoulder.

He laughed. "Please don't do that again."

I laughed with him. "Well tonight,... you can do that some other time, but the beach is what I'm waiting for."

"I know the beach is awesome." and with that said, he smiled a sweet smile. God I love him.

----------------------------------

It felt like we were driving into the middle of no where. All around us was sand, and grass, and dunes. I thought we were lost until we reached a huge sign that said Malaquite Beach on it. I sighed in relief.

"Were almost there." I turned to see Everett smirking.

"Good cause I thought we were lost." Soon enough we reached the parking lot for the huge, should I say pier, deck. I don't know, but it was huge. "Oh wow. That's amazing!" I turned to look at Everett to see he was already out of the car, but the car was still on. I heard my door open, and saw Everett smiling at me.

I was about to jumped down from his car, when he grabbed my thighs with his hands and stopped me. I looked up to see him frowning at me. "Babe, put on your flip flops."

I looked down at my bare feet, then down at the floor mat where I left them. "I'll put them on when I get down." I wiggled around in his grasp.

"No, it's really hot. You'll burn your feet." He was still frowning.

"Pshh no I won't."

"Yes you will, now here." he slipped on both of my sandals, and kissed my cheek. "Now grab the keys."

I turned the car off, and grabbed them. I smiled when I smelled the beach. I saw Everett come from behind his car with a the same bag. "What's in there?" I asked when he grabbed my hand, and we started towards the deck.

"Beach towels, dry clothes, sun tan lotion, a couple of things to eat, and whatever else I put in there. Band aids, my keys, wallet, cellph-"

"Okay, I get it." I smiled while shaking my head.

I heard him chuckle. "Watch you step." He slid one arm around my waist.

I carefully walked up the steps to this huge deck, that also had a small gift shop of some sort, and a small museum in another corner. There also were bathrooms, which had showers in them. In the distance I could make out the ocean. I noticed people sitting on the wooden picnic tables, and some on the benches. Families either flocked in or were ready to leave.

Everett started pulling me down a ramp that lead to the beach. I bit my lower lip, and was grinning like the cheshire cat. I told myself to take deep breaths.

"Let me help." Everett cover my eyes with one of his hands, and grabbed my waist with the other. As we continued to walk down the ramp, I felt something crunch underneath my flip flops. I tried to pull his hand away, but I heard him chuckle. "Ah ah, not yet babe."

"Aw but I think I feel the sand, and I can smell the beach already." I tried to pull his hand again.

"No." he breathed in my ear.

"Everett I bet people are staring at us." I whispered.

He chuckled again. "Are you ready." He said and we stopped.

I felt the hot sand touching my toes, and I bit my lower lip. I finally nodded.

"Welcome to Malaquite Beach." He whispered in my ear, and slid his hand away.

The almost white sandy beach blinded my eyes for a while, then the adjusted. Families, and kids were running around. Screaming, and smiling. The beach looked quite full, but down the beach I saw an open spot. The last thing I looked at was the ocean. The waves splashed on the shore, and the ocean looked never ending.

"Oh my god." I gasped. "It's beautiful." I felt Everett's chest press against my back, and I stood there stunned at the sight.

He eventually grabbed one of my hands, and we started walking again. I felt the sand between my toes, and I smiled down at my feet. As we walked farther away from the ramp, the harder it was to walk.

"Everett." I whined, and pulled my hand free. I pulled of my flip flops, and carried them.

I heard Everett laughing. "Your too cute, cutie."

I pursed my lips, blushed, and started walking again. "The sands really hot." I murmured.

I heard him laugh through his nose, and he grabbed my hand again. "You should have kept your flip flops on then."

"Like they would have helped." I stated, and bumped my hip against his thigh.

I heard seagulls, and looked up to see them flying, and landing. I smiled. "Babe, is this good?" I looked down to see a perfectly good spot. It wasn't too close to anyone. I nodded, and set down my flip flops. I looked to see Everett pulling at two huge beach towels, and he put them side by side in the sand.

I pulled my shirt off, then my shorts. I folded them neatly and placed them on my towel. I looked up in time to see Everett taking his shirt off, and man was I jealous of his perfect tan. His swim trunks hung low on his hips. His muscles didn't help either. I knew all the beautiful girls on the beach would be staring at him. I sighed, closed my eyes, and sunk down on my towel. I pulled my legs to my chest, and rested my forehead on my knees.

I felt movement, and opened one of my eyes to see that I was sitting between Everett's legs. I didn't lift my head, and sighed again. I felt his chest press against my back. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"I..." I sighed again.

"Continue."

"I guess, I'm jealous."

"Jealous? How so?" He rested his chin on my shoulder, and I turned my head slightly so his chin came into my view.

"Of all these girl. The ones that look ten times more beautiful than I do. And of course you being a guy, will be looking at them too. I just know it. It's what guys do."

"Do you think I'll really do that?" I sensed anger in his voice. "Really?" he chuckled, but it was humorless.

"Well guys look at every girl that are super think, and have a big pair of boobs. Why wouldn't you?"

"Michelle..." he whispered.

"I mean come on, even I don't compare to her." I gestured to a Burnette that walked a few feet in front of of. Her bikini looked one size too small. He hair was curled perfectly, and it looked like she only gotten her feet in the water.

"Michelle." I hear him whisper louder this time.

I ignored it. I continued my rant. "I mean if you wanted to flirt back with them...." I trailed off. "Why are you even with me..." I whispered. The tears that blurred my eyes a couple of minutes ago were now falling.

"I'm with you because your down-to-earth. Your perfect in your own way. You don't need make-up or push up bras to look beautiful." he kissed my tear stained cheek. "I'm the luckiest guy in the world. Do you know why?" I shook my head. "Because there is only one Michelle Hayley Martinez. I love you." He whispered in my ear.

I smiled slightly, and leaned back into his chest, and his arms immediately wrapped around my waist. I guess I was just going to have to get use to girls looking at him. I turned around to face him, crossed my legs, and placed my knees on his thighs. "I'm " I placed a kissed on his forehead. "in love " then placed one on his nose. " with you" I finally kissed his lips, and smiled. I pulled away, and stared at him.

"I'm in love with you too." he smiled, and rubbed his nose against mine. "Now." He smirked, and rubbed his hands together. "Time for sun tan lotion." He grabbed two bottle from the bag and gave me one. I moved away from him, and put some on my legs, arms, stomach, and face. I blushed, and turned towards Everett.

"Uh." I started.

He chuckled. "Turn around." I felt him rubbing the lotion, and started to giggle when he touched my side.

"Stop." I laughed, and turned around. "Your turn."

I rubbed his back, and stopped when I saw the scratches. I started again when he looked over his shoulder. "Done yet?"

"Wow, your impatient." I laughed.

I put the lotion in the bag, and grabbed Everett's hand, and laughed when he started pulling me towards the shore. I was starting to feel nervous, as soon as we hit the damp sand I pulled my hand from Everett's grasp.

I looked down, and smiled. I wiggled my toes, and damp sand cluttered between them. I looked up to see Everett had his feet in the water already. I saw he was smiling at me. I hesitated at first, but slowly walked towards him. The water felt amazing.

I grabbed Everett hands, and bit my bottom lip. "Don't let go." I told him, while staring at the water.

"You know I won't." He grabbed my waist, and we moved deeper in the water.

The water was up to my thighs now, and I suddenly felt something rub against my thigh. I let out a small scream, and turned towards Everett, burying my face in his chest. I felt him laughing. "What?" he asked.

"Something rubbed against me." He chuckled, and a shiver went down my spine. He gripped my thighs with his hands, and lifted me up effortlessly.

He moved us into deeper water, and we were waist deep now. I wrapped my arms around his neck, when he started lowering me in the water. "Babe." he laughed.

I looked down at the water, but couldn't see anything. It was just brown, and murky. "Are there jellyfish in here?" I was still looking at the water below me when I asked.

"I don't know, probably."

"Sharks?"

"Probably."

"Great." I muttered. Well it's now or never. My grip on his neck loosened. "Don't let go of my waist." I told him.

What was waist high water for him, was rib cage high for me. At silently thanked that the water was calm, if it wasn't I would surely be pushed over. His hands gripped my waist tightly as another wave came, and held me in place. I felt the sand between my toes, and smiled.

"See, it's not that bad."

I wrapped my arms back around his neck, and pulled him down towards me. "No, it's not..."

"Feels good, right?" he whispered, as I leaned forward.

"Yes." He was staring, waiting for me to make a move. "Everett." and with that said, I kissed him.

He lifted me out of the water, and he free arm went behind me knees lifting them out also. I felt him smiling in the kiss. I pulled away, and rested my forehead against his.

And before I knew it, or even knew what was happening. He dropped me into the water. I could barely see his legs that were in front of me under water. I wrapped my arms around them, and pulled. I heard a large splash from underwater, and quickly stood up, rubbing the salt water out of my eyes.

I started laughing at Everett's facial expression, and soon enough he was too.

----------------------------------

I looked around for Everett but couldn't see him. I squinted when I turned in the direction of the sun. "Everett!" I yelled.

No answer, I started walking back towards the shore. I sat down where the water was up to my ankles. I sighed, it feels nice. I looked down to see some shell animals burying in the sand. I didn't have much time to think about them, when I heard someone calling my name. I turned to see... what was his name? ...Miles.

"Hey, I thought it was you." he breathed out, and sat down next to me with a bright smile on his face.

"Hey." I smiled back.

"You look great." He gestured to me, and my swim suit.

I laughed, and felt my cheeks flush. "Thanks." and nodded my head. "Uh, you look... great too." I sighed, at the awkward pause.

He laughed, and leaned back on his arms. "Thanks." He stared out into the open water. I had time to see his eyes were still green, and I hadn't just imagined them. His hair slightly wet, and messing, but it look amazing, more than mine. His abs were showing proudly, and his swim trucks were hanging dangerously low, and I tore my gaze away, the cool breeze, and I was hoping that it would cool down my now burning cheeks. I opened my mouth to say something, even if it was meaningless, just to fill the silence. "So, who are you here with?" He asked me, also beating me cause I was going to ask him that.

"Uh, Evere-"

"Everett." He finished for me.

"Uh, yeah. How did you-"

"I saw you at that party, with him. You probably don't remember seeing me but I did see you."

I nodded. "So you know Everett?"

"Yeah." His voice sounded forced.

"Riley, then too?"

He laughed at this one, and I smiled. "Yeah." He laughed again. "Yeah I know that crazy bitch."

I laughed loudly. "So you must be like twenty-ish then, right? Like Riley?"

"Yes ma'am, well I'm turning twenty-one in less than a month."

"Are all three of you like best friends?" I looked at his face to see him frown, and then when he looked out the corner of his eyes he smirked.

"Kind of. Well, Riley and I are. Everett and me use to be."

"Use to be?"

"Yeah, it's stupid."

I turned to face him, while crossing my legs. "Tell me." I smiled at him.

He smiled, and laughed. "Party. Alcohol. Girl. Fight. Broken nose. Bruised rib. End of story." he chuckled again.

My mouth opened. "So you guys fought over some girl that you liked?"

"Not me. He was in love with her. Jesse." I almost gasped, almost. "He got over her, once she hopped onto another guy the next day."

"So who got the broken nose, and bruised rib?"

He pointed to his nose. "Broken nose."

I nodded in understanding. His nose was slightly crooked if you looked real close, you could probably see a scar. "How old were you guys back then?" If they fought over someone... well high school? I guessed.

"I was in tenth, and he was in twelfth. He thought he had everything together. Especially with Jesse, but I guess he learned the hard way he didn't. So I was surprised to hear her tell everyone over here that they were getting married." He stared out into the ocean.

"So you guys haven't been friends for like, five years? You guys haven't even talked to each other?"

"Yeah five years, and I mean we say 'hi' to each other... sort of."

"Wow."

"But that's not the only reason. We played a prank on this one kid. It turned ugly."

"How? What happened?" I scooted closer to listen to him.

"Well, you know how off of that twilight movie they cliff dive-" He stared out into the ocean again.

He stopped, and I sighed inwardly. I was really getting into this. "And?" I pressed.

He turned his attention back to me, and gave me a small smile. "I got to go." He stood up, and dusted the sand off his bottom.

I stood up also, doing the same. He started walking away, but I grabbed his arm. "Hey! Why are you leaving." He stared down at me confused.

His confused face, and frown soon turned into a grin. "Troubles coming."

He turned to leave again, but I gripped his arm tighter. "Wait, what?" He eyes passed over my head.

I turned to see Everett glaring at Miles. "Hey man." I heard Miles say.

Everett ignored his greeting, and pulled me away from him, and into his chest. My back pressed against his chest, and I noticed he was wet. Was he in the water the whole time? "What are you doing here?"

Miles raised one of his eyebrows, and smirked. He gave Everett a knowing look. "Dude, it's the beach."

"I meant with Michelle ass wipe." He voice filled with anger.

My eyes widened at his tone, but Miles didn't seem fazed. "Well, if you must know. I met slash ran into her at the aquarium when you upset her. You remember? She was crying and-"

I felt Everett chest press against me hard, like I was in his way. "Listen you son of a bi-"

"Okay!" I yelled, and stepped away from Everett. I glared at him, and then turned to Miles dropping me glared. He smiled sweetly down at me. "I'll see you soon." I smiled and nodded at him.

"Yeah, soon. Bye Michelle." He threw me a small wave, and walked away smirking at Everett for about four second before turning and running down the beach

I turned back to Everett. "What the hell was that? What's your problem?"

Everett looked away. "Nothing."

I clenched my jaw. "Whatever."

I tried to push passed him, and walk towards our beach towels, but he grabbed my wrist. "I'm sorry."

I sighed loudly. "For what?" I hardly think he was going to apologize to Miles.

It was his turn to sigh. "This is your first time at the beach, and I'm ruining it."

"It's fine." I wiggled my wrist, but he didn't let go.

"Michelle, please. I'm sorry."

I grounded my teeth together. I finally sighed, and let my arm go limp. "Is he really that bad?" I turned to face him.

I saw him shut his eyes tightly, and a muscle in his jaw jumped. "No, he's not. He's almost like Riley." he laughed.

I smiled. "See, I can tell you wish you were still friends."

He stared down at me, and blinked. "I-"

"Love you." I finished and kissed him.

He smiled into the kiss, and lifted me off the ground.

----------------------------------

"Everett!" I yelled to him from the shore.

He turned his head, and waved at me while smiling.

"I'm hungry!" I didn't know if he heard me, so I rubbed my stomach.

He started towards the shore, and finally stopped in front of me smiling. "Now what was that?"

The way he was looking at me, the feel of his eyes on my face made me shy away. "I'm hungry." I said in a small voice.

He grabbed my hand. "What do you want?"

"Uh, I don't know. Surprise me."

"Alright. I'll be back in a few." He was about to walk away, but I grabbed his forearm. He turned around, and arched an eyebrow.

I blushed, and stared down at the sand. "You didn't kiss me."

I felt his breath on my cheek, and he laughed through his nose. I felt his lips on my jaw, and they trailed along, and then finally they rested on mine.

I smiled, as he started running towards the small store on the deck.

----------------------------------

The sun had already set, and we were watching the last of the colors in the sky disappear as we sat on our towels. I leaned against him smiling. I had a wonderful time today. The beach was wonderful, and I hope we could come again tomorrow.

"Michelle." Everett whispered.

"Yeah."

"If I..." he sighed heavily.

"Come on tell me." I chuckled, and nudged his side.

"If I asked you to marry me, would you?" I felt his body tense, and the air left my body.

I opened my mouth but nothing came out. "I-" I started. "I mean..."

"No, it's okay if you don't." his body relaxed again.

I pulled away from his body, and stared at him. "Everett." I grabbed his chin and forced him to looked at me. I saw a small tint of pink on his cheeks, and I smiled. I would marry this man, a hundred times. "I would." I smiled.

He looked shocked. "You would?"

I chuckled. "Yes, I would."

His started grinning like a fool, and I couldn't help but laugh. "In the summer, after school, graduation, and everything." he started. "Would you. This summer." he whispered.

In his eyes I saw happiness, joy, amusement, and much more. "Yes." I smiled. "If you asked me properly. Yes, I would."

He smirked, and turned back towards the ocean, and I leaned my head against his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

I keep on wondered what else Miles was going to tell me? I mean I think I got a pretty good idea what happened. I just wanted him to tell me.

I wonder if he would go home with Riley.

Some part of me hoped he did.

I really enjoyed talking to him.

Unlike Riley, Miles told me more about Everett.

I wanted to know more.
