Natasha's POV

I woke up to my cousins shaking me and telling me to wake up

"Wake up now,it's your haldi today, hurry up,". They said in hurry

I open my eyes slowly and one of my cousin Nisha shakes my shoulder

"Now wake up it's getting late," she said

"But it's just 7:30 why so hurry?,". I said complaining

"We have to hurry everyone are awake except you,". My another cousin Aryan replies

"I'm still not fully awake," I grumbled, reluctant to get up.

"Better get moving before chacha ji comes in," Nisha warned, mentioning my father and their uncle.

The thought of facing my father's potential wrath jolted me into action. "Alright, fine, I'm getting up," I conceded, feeling a mix of frustration and urgency.

Dragging myself to the bathroom, I couldn't help but feel a mix of laziness and frustration. I quickly freshened up, eager to get through the morning rituals.

As I stepped out of the bathroom, I was greeted by the sight of a stunning yellow gown laid out before me.

I couldn't help but shake my head in disbelief at the thought of wearing such a beautiful gown only to have it ruined by the haldi ceremony

I couldn't help but shake my head in disbelief at the thought of wearing such a beautiful gown only to have it ruined by the haldi ceremony.

I opted for minimal makeup, just applying a bit of tinted lip balm before heading outside in the gown.

As I walked through the hallway, I admired the remnants of the extravagant decorations from my engagement. The grandeur of the hall, adorned with flowers and lights, reminded me of the joyous occasion. It was surreal to think that both families were staying here together, immersed in the celebratory atmosphere until the culmination of the wedding rituals.

I turned around in confusion as I felt a hand on my shoulder,I turn around only to saw him.

My Husband to be

"Good morning, sweet cheeks," he greeted with a charming smile,

I remained silent, puzzled by the nickname.

Who is sweet cheeks?

"I'm talking to you," he reiterated.

Oh so he is referring me as sweet cheeks

I awkwardly replied, "Umm, h-hi." Mentally, I slapped myself for stuttering.

"You're looking beautiful," he said with a warm smile.

"Well, thank you," I replied, feeling a hint of warmth in my cheeks.

He looked dashing in the yellow kurta, the vibrant color complementing his complexion. The fabric draped perfectly over his frame, emphasizing his masculine features. His attire exuded an aura of elegance and confidence, accentuated by subtle embroidery and intricate detailing.
