Can’t Catch A Break
Several hours have past since Adakis has begun trying to use Leo’s pendant to locate him. In the state he’s in, Adakis can barely get his abilities to work, by now, he's overused them and he’s feeling more and more exhausted by the minute. He's body can’t take much more. Nero will hear none of it, he’s heart bleeds for Leo’s location, nothing and no one will talk him out of it.
Sid: Nero, he needs rest, he can't take much more of this
Sid says, he also can barely keep his eyes open.
Nero: he’ll rest once he’s found Leo, until then, he continues
Sid: ...
Sid looks over concerned to the exhausted Adakis, he’s afraid that Nero doesn’t care about anything or anyone but the fact of finding his brother. In this case, Nero’s selfish actions will cost both his life and the life of others if he continues on like this.

A Genesis Helicopter flies over the Sapphire City night sky, still in search for Nero.
Harper: where is he?
Kenzo: I don't know sir, the gamma trail has completely vanished
Harper: what direction was it last headed?
Operative: east of the city
Nielson: that’s where the city’s square is located
Harper: he could be there, laying low somewhere
Nielson: the square is huge, how are you even going to find him?
Harper: we have our ways
Nielson barely has words to say to the new captain of the G.S.S.
Harper: head to the square
Pilot: yes sir

Future Sight.
Sid notices Adakis having some trouble breathing and finally decides to put a stop to this, he walks over to him and takes the pendant from his hands.
Adakis: Sid? Wh…what are you doing?
Sid: you’ve reached your limit Adakis, you need rest
Nero: he’ll rest when I say so, hand him the pendant
Sid: ...no
Nero: Sid
Nero says with an ominous look on his face.
Sid: I said no, Nero! What’s wrong with you!? He’s our friend!
Nero: I don’t remember ever making that statement. Do you?
Sid: but… the Branded…
Nero: The Branded is dead. Only a few of them just remain. Need I remind you that neither Leo and I ever joined up with them
Sid is taken aback by Nero’s words, no response from him, he just stands there with a confused expression upon his face.
Nero: give him the pendant, I won’t tell you again
Adakis: It’s all right, Sid. I can handle it
Sid: no you can’t!
