Baking queen

A/N started writing this before it was confirmed She also made homemade pop tarts for the whole O line ( rip to defense) , based on what Andy said sounds like it might be a regular thing 

Taylor loves baking, it's one of her love languages. It's was no surprise she want to share this with those she cares about. And  Travis had quickly become her biggest fan. She often made treats for the team and his friends to enjoy before games, and they were always a hit. Those men could eat! 

Travis  and his teammates were gearing up for a big game against their division rivals. As they gathered in the locker room before the game, the smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls filled the air. Everyone's eyes turned to Travis' locker, he was sitting on the chair by his locker, large Tupperware containers nearby as he munched on some cinnamon rolls..

" Taylor baked some pre game treats! There's enough to share!" exclaimed Travis, a wide smile spreading across his face. 

" these look amazing. I need all the energy I can get " pat called out 

" she made these same cinnamon rolls for pre game party at the house too, everyone was raving. Bernie kosar broke his diet for a few bites, he texted me all about it " Trav laughs as his teammates 

" I  can't believe she made all these from scratch," added one of Travis' teammates, eyeing the warm, gooey rolls with excitement.

As the players dug into the cinnamon rolls, they couldn't stop praising Taylor's skills in the kitchen. Even the coaches couldn't resist sneaking a taste and giving their approval.

"Travis, you better hold onto this one," joked one of the veteran players, nudging him in the ribs. 'She's a keeper.'

The rest of the team laughed and chimed in, teasing Travis about needing to put a ring on it.

Travis couldn't help but smile at the thought. He and Taylor hadn't been dating that long but this did feel different. She was smart, funny, and incredibly talented. And now, he could add baking to the list of things she excelled at. And his teammates loved her. 

As the team finished their pre-game snack and got ready to hit the field, Travis pulled out his phone to send Taylor a quick message, he was prepared for just a call but she answered with  FaceTime 

"Thank you so much for these cinnamon rolls baby!" he said with a large smile "You always know how to make everyone's day a little sweeter" 

Taylor grinned, her cheeks turning pink. "I'm just happy you guys enjoy them." 

"We do!"  *he pans the camera around to the guys giving a thumbs up* making them all laugh " hey, have a good show tonight.  I'm looking forward to seeing the videos all over my social media feed"  

"Thank you Trav. Can't wait to see you next week. love you ." 

" Love you too, talk to you soon"  they hang up 

As Travis and his teammates put on their helmets and prepared for battle, he couldn't help but think about a certain blonde. 
Who knows what the future held. For now,  he was just grateful to have her by his side, supporting him and his team in every way possible. And as they took the field, fueled by the delicious cinnamon rolls made with love by Taylor, Travis couldn't help but feel like they were unstoppable.

🏈 🏈🏈  A month later they were at practice . Gearing  up for the Super Bowl 🏈🏈🏈

Travis walks into the training facilities where the offensive line was practicing  (they practice separate from the defense) " Tay made homemade pop-tarts!"  Travis yells holding some Tupperware

"Isn't she in LA for Grammy's ?"  Pacheco asked 

" yes, she make these last night before leaving and packed them up" Trav answers as he started warming up. 

" bro, you better not fuck this up" a teammate says seriously 

" I Know!" He didn't plan to

The entire offensive line had helped themselves then went back to doing drills for the next few hours

Hc Andy walked over as they were taking a water break, he must've been in his office or checking in on the D-line 

" hey coach!" The guys called 

" what's this I keep hearing about  homemade pop tarts?" He asks 

" Tay made them they are amazing!"

" well I gotta try one of these!"  Big red's fave lit up 

" sorry buddy" 

They were definitely gone

"Tay will send some your way Big Red!"  Trav calls. He knew it would be no issue for her. She loves to bake 

" well at least I've got a good hutch she will be sticking around huh" he reasons 

" definitely, I don't plan on fumbling this one" 

A/N I Think this is so sweet. Also love hearing more about how the whole team talks about her.  

I noticed parallels when I saw his mom bringing containers of homemade cookies to share with everyone. And the way Taylor uses to also bring cookies along to radio hosts . Also reminds me of how Trav said he looks to his mom as a benchmark as a judge of character.
