Aaliya's POV:

"I am waiting for someone, I'll order when she is here" I said politely to the waiter with a smile.

"Okay ma'am" he said back.

Just then I saw a figure entering the double doors of the cafe. It resembled much of my bestfriend's.

In a rush when I was confirmed its her, I scrambled to my feet just as she noticed me.

We both ran towards each other squealing like little girls who had been seperated for an eternity. It was an eternity without her.

She hugged me so tight like I would dissappear if she pulled back.

I had never seen her cry. I was always the one who had been the soft hearted one in our friendship. She had always been the badass.

Just as she pulled back her eyes glistened under the light but she didn't cry. She won't.

I'd never let her cry because of me.

"God it's been an eternity liya" she breathed out,her voice full with emotion.

"I know babe I know" I rasped out.

"God I'm not letting you go now" she said as she hugged me again.

I laughed but it came more as a sob.

"Don't cry on me Aaliya Pervaiz. This is a $200 cardigan I'm wearing" she said while a soft laugh erupted from her throat.

I slapped her back playfully before pulling away.

We sat down and ordered our favourite pastries with a caramel frappucino for me and an oreo shake for her.

"So tell me everything I've missed" I said with a smile.

We then talked about our problems that were all too consuming for us to keep inside us anymore. She, about how law is her dream but then it's too too risky and difficult.

Risky. Because she thought she wasn't enough.

The damn people who think so haven't seen her properly.

Me, about the rush of my sisters wedding and about how I don't really know when I'll go back and after catching up.I told her about the thought that had been consuming me so badly these days.

The thoughts of him.

"So you're telling me you like someone whom you just met on an airport and talked with about like 5 minutes." she asked popping a bite of pastry in her mouth.

"Neen, I don't like him girl he seemed as a gentleman not seemed He was! and I just wasnt in the right state of my mind when I looked at him-God he was so handsome" I said fanning myself dramatically.

"well that is some high class airport romace. Maybe novel worthy too" she said looking at me like I had a disease or something.

"Damn neen I don't even know him babe how can you even think that I like him?"

"Mhmm"she cooed, eyeing me closely.

" I actually am imaginaning your both babies-like I know I haven't even seen him but it's your choice so I am trusting you with it if he ever breaks your heart you know I'll be there to beat his ass but God I'll organise your wedding, liya" she said in one breath.

"Neen-"

"If you want an English style wedding I'll be your bridesmaid in honor-"

"Daneen-"

"but you know desi wedding like tops everything-"

"DANEEN UMAIR AWAN" I said in a shout like voice in terms to shut her up.

She just laughed.

We talked like that for hours before it was finally my time to leave.

"it feels so good to see us together again Aaliya" she said.

"I know babe I know" I replied back.

"well keep me updated with your thoughts okay, I'll feed into your delusions as a villain" she laughed

I laughed before replying"yeah yeah tell that to your Omar"

"Shut up" she snapped.

"he'll make you babe" I replied.

She hit me with her purse on her way out. Before blowing me a flying kiss.

I love this girl, I love the life I am living back home and I don't know if I even will go back.
