32. Haeun's Whereabouts

Soonyoung POV

I start running, holding a tight grip on the ball as Hansol and Wonwoo chases after me.

I can't lose again, not this time! We have to win no matter what!

I leap into the air and throws the ball, scoring a goal. I smile as I finally did it. We win.

Elvesburgh 20 : 21 Greenwich

The referee blows the whistle, ending the game.

"Greenwich Academy takes the win 21 to 20!!!"

"Woohoo!!! We won!!!" Seungkwan cheers.

"Great job, Soonyoung!" Seungcheol pats my shoulder.

Suddenly, I hear Joshua's shout loudly.

"Haeun!"

I turn my head, raising my eyebrow. "Huh?"

I glance towards the bleachers, realizing Haeun is not there on her seat. My eyes widen.

"Haeun...!"

Joshua POV

I start running towards the exit, "Haeun!"

"Heli!" I heard Chan calls for me.

Jihoon asks, "Where are you going?!"

I swear she was in the stand halfway through the second half! It makes no sense she just left like that right before the game ended. What happened?! No...

"I'll take the princess." Kyungmi's voice echoes in his head.

Did Kyungmi take Haeun with her?

Meanwhile, Chan and Jihoon are dumbfounded.

"Haeun?" Chan mumbles.

"She's in the stand--" Jihoon glances towards her seat but he stops, he didn't see her.

"H-her seat's empty! She's gone!" Jihoon mutters.

"What?!"

Jihoon then turns to his friends, "Guys! Haeun's gone!"

"Hansol!" Joshua calls.

"Joshua!" Hansol responds.

"Hansol! Can you locate Haeun right now?!"

"W-wait..." Hansol mumbles and after a while, his eyes widen in shock.

"N-no way...!" Hansol mumbles.

Hansol reaches for Joshua and talks, "I-its gone...! Her waves are completely gone."

"What?!" Joshua shouts.

"You can't catch her waves?!" The others said in unison.

Hansol slowly nods, "I can't sense her waves no matter how much I enhance my sensations. There are only two explanations for this..."

"One, she's unconscious... or two, she's no longer alive."

Joshua arrive at the exit and he stops as he saw few blood on the floor. His eyes widen in fear.

"Haeun!"

Suddenly, Soonyoung and his friends approaches him.

"W-where's Haeun?! Did you find her?!" Soonyoung asks but his words cut as he sees the blood on the floor too.

He turns towards his friends, "Let's go! We have to find her now! Those monsters from the other day must've taken her!"

"B-but how do we know where they went?" Seungkwan asks.

"Actually..." Seokmin starts. "There might be a way. Our brothers have been chasing after the vampires. There's a chance they found the hideout by now. So let's look for our brothers first."

"Got it!" They say in unison and disappears from my sight.

Hansol and the others appears at the exit, panting as they look at me.

"Joshua! Did you find her?!" Hansol asks.

I turn to him, "Hansol! It's Kyungmi! Find Kyungmi!"

"I tried already... but I can't find her waves either!"

Jihoon stutters, "N-now what?! What should we do?!"

After a while, they calls me in unison.

"Joshua. Let's go."

I look at them, "To where?"
