March 1980

"Juliet Potter against the Werewolf subdivisions of the Ministry." The assistant announced her as she walked into the hearing room, taking place behind the podium, facing the Ministry employees.

She recognized a few names, mostly because Lyall and Arthur had given her information on them, but she did not care to try to remember yet.

Only voice that mattered in that room was her own, and that of Gethsemane Prickle, the head of the Department.

"Miss Potter, what owes us the honor of your presence?"

"Other than the miserable habit of the Ministry to decree and enforce harsh and tyrannical laws without notice, you mean?" She grinned sweetly.

"Here we go." One mumbled.

"She's definitely her mother's daughter that one." Another added.

"Are we done discussing my family line? May we move onto the object of my visit?" Juliet asked calmly.

Everyone in the room could tell it was condescending words, but she had said it so bluntly, genuinely and in a calm tone, that none felt the desire to protest it.

Juliet needed to make a strong impression, what she was to discuss needed to linger on their mind, and any dramatic of hers could help with that.

Arthur Weasley who was nervously sitting somewhere in the back, out of her vision, was soon joined by Professors McGonagall, Slughorn, Flitwick and Sprout.

"We have not missed much, I hope?" Professor Sprout asked Weasley.

"She's just began." He reassured anxiously.

"Do not fret. She will do well." McGonagall stared at the young woman proudly.

"For far too long have werewolves been ostracised in our society. I demand for it to stop." Juliet spoke up.

"Why, of course! Would you like chocolate frogs with that?" A man, that Juliet recognized as Cecil Lee, sarcastically retorted, causing many other employees to snicker.

"What a mature response for a man of your age." Juliet responded blankly, before turning back to the leader. "It's an injustice that has lasted far too long, you cannot keep treating them as the most dangerous beasts to walk the earth!"

"Werewolves are a scourge on wizardkind. We need to eliminate every last one of them before they do the same to us!" Cecil Lee stood up defiantly.

"Really? That speech familiar doesn't it?" Juliet taunted. "Have your brother and sister in law not been arrested and sent to Azkaban for their participation as Death Eaters?"
