July 1978

"Hi."

Juliet looked away from the window, turning to glance at Molly who stood by the doorframe.

"Hey, what's going on?" She asked when she saw the mother's serious expression.

"I.. have an issue."

Juliet raised an eyebrow.

That day they were to have a meeting of the Order in the Burrow. The Tonks would be joining them, and so would Albus, with news from the three groups on foreign lands.

She dreaded that the issue would have something to do with them.

But when Molly told her of the issue in question, relief immediately took over.

"Jesus, Molly. You and Arthur can't keep it in your pants, can you?" She teased, watching as Molly glared, flustered.

"How else do you keep a marriage alive?"

"Trauma?" Juliet shrugged, which made the mother of three froze and stared at the girl.

"Are you and Remus doing well?"

"Of course, why?"

"No reason."

"Do you think it's going to be a fire call? Maybe I could talk to Amos! He would love to see the bump, we're three months away from seeing our baby." Daphne rambled as she was walking down the hallway with Juliet.

Dumbledore had arrived and it was time for the meeting so they were making their way to the living room after having gathered the children.

"I don't think we'll get the occasion to talk to them, Daphne. Plus they may not have access to a fireplace, Dumbledore said he managed to find a way to communicate with them, he didn't say through which disposition."

Daphne sighed, sulking. "Why do you have to be such a pessimist?"

"I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist. Regulus is a pessimist."

"Hey, I'm right in front of you." Her best friend turned around to give her a side-eye.

"I know."

"Who's going to watch the kids? Molly said she's going to be joining us in a minute." Daphne said once they reached the living room, having walked down the multiple stairs of the Burrow.

"That would be me."

The trio turned around to see Hope Lupin standing there, in the middle of the living room with her husband. On the couch in front of them were Andromeda and Ted Tonks.

"Mr and Mrs Lupin!" Juliet beamed rushing into Hope's open arms.

If there was any older adult that she adored except McGonagall and the Tonks' it would be Remus' parents, as they felt like her own. Her heart would still ache at the thought. She didn't have parents anymore.

"Oh, dear, how I've missed you! Where have you been? Last I heard, you were missing, we thought the worst!" Hope exclaimed, pulling away from the warm hug to look at the girl.

The mother immediately noticed the tired eyes but she did not speak of it because she could still see a spark. She also saw the scars, but that too was not spoken of.

"It's a very, very long story, but in fact, the lovely couple in front of you saved my life." Juliet pointed to the Tonks who smiled at the girl gently.

"We are glad to see you're doing well anyways," Lyall commented kindly and patted Juliet's shoulder.

"Juliet!" Nymphadora ran out of the kitchen, straight to the brunette who prepared herself to lift the little girl.

"Well hello there, Tonks, how'd you do?" She grinned at the pink-haired child that was happily bouncing in her arms.

"I learned something new, do you wanna see??" She giggled before pulling the face Juliet has learned to be her concentrating one and immediately widened her eyes.

She wasn't sure if anyone else was aware of the Metamorphmagus abilities of the child nor if the parents wanted it to be known but after having seen the frown on their faces, she knew to stop it.

"How about later, aye? I've got boring adult business to do, but you can show me later! And in private, I deserve a special show just for me."

"Okay!" Nymphadora grinned before jumping out of her arms and running up the stairs.

Andromeda nodded at Juliet in gratitude before hugging her to greet her.

"Well, I believe everyone's a bit acquainted with everyone, however..." Juliet turned to her friends. "Hope, Lyall, those are my friends, Regulus and Daphne."

"Aw, you have a little one on the way! Congratulations!" Hope beamed.

"Thank you!" Daphne exclaimed excitedly.

"Forgive me for interrupting this tender moment, but shall we commence our meeting?"

The group turned around to see Albus Dumbledore, with Arthur Weasly by his side.

The group instantly became serious, Hope rushing to go upstairs to join the children and Molly while the rest of them went and took a sit.

"Mr Weasley and I have attempted to establish communication through the Floo Network and it turned out unsuccessful." Dumbledore started.

"I even tried this new Muggle thing called telephone! But couldn't figure out how to reach our friends.." The red-headed man muttered, disappointed.

"We took the risk to send them a letter."

"A letter!? Are you mad? The letter could have been intercepted! You could have put their positions in danger!" Juliet exclaimed, frowning.

"They are fine, Miss Potter, be reassured, the Phoenix knows when danger follows."

"Phoenix?" Ted Tonks raised an eyebrow. "You sent a letter with a goddamn Phoenix while trying to be discreet?"

Every day, Juliet wondered how that old man could be the most powerful wizard alive.

"Well, did we get a response?"

"From all three groups." Dumbledore nodded, putting down three pieces of paper on the table.

Regulus, Andromeda, and Juliet all reached for one.

They seemed to silently go through it, and after a few seconds, one of them raised their head, eyes wide.
