That morning, everyone went to play on the beach again. Beah started walking around the island and ran into a boy.
Because of the bump, she fell.

"Ouch! Hey, please, next time watch where you are going."

"Oh no! Guardian Beah! I'm so sorry. Let me help you."
He put his hand out.

She looked up and blushed. He was very tall with dark hair.
"No, you're fine. Thank you for helping me up."

He nodded.
"It's the least I can do. It was nice meeting you."

She looked at her hand and then turned around.

She sat down on the sand watching the boys play their 100th round of kickball.

"Bet ya can't kick this one!" Rylo said.

"Watch me, pie face!" Delaaran said and kicked it.

Beah giggled while watching them play.

Eun-ji came and sat beside her.
"I just came for the shade, so don't be startled."

Beah nodded.

They sat in silence, and then Beah bursted out her question.
"I see you're very well with boys, Eun-ji!"

Eun-ji looked at her oddly.
"Random. I haven't even flirted with a boy this whole time."

Beah giggled.
"Well, of course you have! I'm sure you've been flirting with my brother this entire time!"

Eun-ji looked at her confused.
"Brother?"

"Kubo!" Beah said.

"He's your brother? Oh wait- no I remember."

Beah nodded.
"I see you two talking a lot, so it made me think you two were dating."

Eun-ji almost choked.
"Dating?! Kubo? Ew! Gross. I'm only guarding him, because I have nothing else to guard. He's my sensei's son. That's too precious to lose."

Beah looked at Kubo playing with the other boys.
"Well, if you weren't flirting then you must be great at attracting them?"

Eun-ji shook her head.
"What is with these weird questions, B?"

Beah started looking around thinking of words to say.

Eun-ji smiled.
"You have a crush, don't you?"

Beah started to sweat.
"What? Crush? No way!"

Eun-ji raised her eyebrow, and Beah gave up hiding it.

"Yes. A boy ran into me while I took a walk on the island. I don't know how to talk to him."

Eun-ji nodded.
"Simple. Just do it."

Beah pouted.
"You don't just do it! You have some type of thing you do!"

Eun-ji shook her head.
"Nope. Just talk. At the end of the day, all boys are stinky."

Beah nodded.
"Ok. I'll try."

Delaaran got tired and saw Kanna playing with the stingray by the shore. He ran over to her.

"Hey, Kanna! What are you doing?"

She looked over and smiled.
"Hola (Hi)! I'm just talking to the stingray."

She then sang to one of them.
"Losi says that you are very kind."

Delaaran smiles and sits beside her.
"Tell Losi I say thank you."

Kanna speaks back to them.

The stingray then swims away.

"Hopefully they'll be back to see me one last time before we go."
