I advise the song "eyes don't lie" by Isabel LaRosa.

"You don't trust me?" I asked when I was lied down and he put the device back on my ankle.

"This about it like this... you're my favorite pet and I don't want you running away, so now, if I lose you, you'll be chipped and come home safe to me." He ran his hand up my calf.

I frowned.

"What about me working? Why can't I work?"

"You don't have to. You have everything."

"I don't want to be trapped in here all day."

"Well I don't trust you. You switch up too quick."

"No I don't." I scoffed, sitting up.

He came beside my side of the bed and grabbed my throat gently.

"You let me kiss you repeatedly and wanted me to stay till you were asleep. The next day you attempted running away."

"Because I'm clinical."

"Your pretty little ass is staying right here. Home."

I frowned.

He leaned down, kissing the corner of my lips.

I fell into his touch so easily.

Too easily.

"I'll take you out tomorrow night. You can dress up and we can go on a date. But that's if you stay put and watch your mouth tomorrow while I'm at work."

"Fine."

"So well behaved. My good little captive." He kissed over my lips like a whisper before standing to his full height.

He grabbed my bonnet and pulled it over my curls.

"Sleep."

-

I stood by him, eating an apple as he made himself coffee.

I bit into it until I felt a chunk detach by itself, since I barely had to bite to get it off so it wasn't gross, I offered it to him. Like a knife without a knife.

He ate it and I bit into it, actually taking the piece into my mouth for myself this time.

"You'll do that but not kiss me?" He raised a brow.

"My tongue didn't even touch the skin." I shrugged.

"It would've tasted better if it had." He pulled his mug from the machine and put a tablespoon of sugar and a splash of milk.

I felt my face heat at the statement as he walked past me and to the table.

He opened his laptop and started what I assume to be work.

"You don't have to be up early just because I work." He looked at me.

I shrugged.

"I want human interaction before I'm alone all day."

"Do me a favor, rose?"

"Hm?" I nodded.

"Look in the fridge."

I stood and walked to the fridge, opening it and confused.

"Tin foil." He said.

I grabbed the plate covered in tin foil.

I removed it and smiled.

Milk chocolate covered strawberries on one half and candied ones on the other.
