After the announcement I immediately went backstage, to change in my swimsuit everyone was rushing and some were panicking. While me? I'm feeling so chill.
When I walked onto that stage I thought to myself "Just enjoy it" I did what I said to myself and it turned out pretty well, I posed on the camera and walked confidently. Slayed.
Calling the top 10 made me feel excited, I know to myself that I nailed that swimsuit round and I'm ready to be part of that top 10.

I knew it. People will get to see my evening gown, I know they will love it and I know that my evening gown is different from others. And I'm really excited about it.
Walking out on that stage wearing my gown feels so powerful, I'm the only one who wears a black colored gown and it made me stand out. I saw in the audience how shocked they were seeing my gown and I know people watching on their TV's right now also feel the same. One step ahead and I get to hold the microphone, question and answer are my things, I know I can devour the question and answer portion, all I need now is to get to the top 5.

4 candidates are now part of the top 5, Anntonia is one of them, I'm really hoping that I get called. "Maybe the last spot is mine" I thought to myself. I know I'll be part of it.
The last spot sadly wasn't mine, I'm not part of the top 5, I didn't have the chance to answer questions, I know I killed that performance, I won 2 awards, I gave my best but sadly it's not my time to have the crown, being part of the top 10 is already a win and I know I made the Filipinos proud. Everything happens for a reason.
After that, I cried and cried backstage, telling myself that everything happens for a reason, I tried to calm down myself. Message my supporters on my broadcast channel and thank them.
The crowned Miss Universe is Miss Nicaragua, she deserves it. I was congratulating the ladies when I saw Anntonia, I went to her and patted her back telling her that I'm here for her. "Congratulations Mommy" I let out a little chuckle to light up the mood "Congratulations too Daddy" she replied and put a smile on her face. And we hugged each other, reassuring her, everything will be fine as long as we have each other.
That hug was the best.
