"I love your hair" said Wanda.
"You had blue hair?" asked Tony incredulously.
Emerald nodded.
"Yelena wanted to dye hers black but Alexei wouldn't let her" said Emerald.
Yelena pouted.
"I like my hair colour too much so I didn't want to dye it" said Ivanna.
(KIDS WHOOPING AND LAUGHING FAINTLY)
(Young Ivanna and Natasha whistle a long note.)
(Young Yelena WHISTLES BACK)
Young Yelena Belova: We're all upside down.
"Didn't notice" said Emerald sarcastically.
Yelena pouted at her sister.
Ivanna couldn't help but laugh slightly.
Young Emerald Romanoff: And I bet you're gonna fall down first.
"You're very competitive" said Tony.
"Nah really" said Emerald sarcastically.
Young Ivanna Petrova: No, you will. You can't hold it much longer.
[Ivanna and Emerald make funny faces at Yelena causing her to fall, Ivanna giggles to much and falls as well, while Emerald gets up from the back bend.]
Young Natasha Romanoff: Told you you'd fall down first. I told you! I told you! Told you so!
Young Yelena Belova: Mummy!
(SOBBING)
Melina Vostokoff: What happened?
Young Emerald Romanoff: She fell on her knee.
"Thanks Captain Obvious" said Tony.
Emerald just flipped him off while muttering 'fuck you' under her breath in Russian.
Melina Vostokoff: Oh, you bump your knee?
Young Yelena Belova: Mmm-hmm.
Melina Vostokoff: Oh... Kiss it better. There we go. (SHUSHING). Oh, come on, little one. Get up. You're okay. Come on. You're a brave girl. Your pain only makes you stronger.
This got raised eyebrows.
"She's raising assassins" said Ivanna bluntly.
Melina Vostokoff: Right, you two?
Young Emerald Romanoff and Ivanna Petrova: Yeah.
Melina Vostokoff: Yeah?
Young Yelena Belova: Look! Forest stars.
Melina Vostokoff: Yeah. You know what? Those are actually part of the Lampyridae family. And the glow, the glow that you see, that comes from a chemical reaction called... bioluminescence. Come on, time for dinner.
"She was a scientist?" asked Bruce.
"still is I'm proud to say" said Ivanna.
Melina smiled.
