TIME: 08:00 A.M
Location: Somewhere near the Gaustadt Castle

The pilot landed away from the prying eyes of the enemy; in a forest called 'Goliath's Ankle'. The vegetation was rich, populated with various species of animals and mythical creatures.

The pilot opened the hatch of the plane:
"Baruch Hashem."
Jasmine gave him a thumb-up. The pilot then flew away.
"Phew. I can't even breathe with this helmet. It's so hot in it."
Jasmine took her helmet off.
She took a deep breath:
"Ah. Much better."
"Damn, this forest is huge. Better use my vision to scout the area."
Jasmine detected nothing out of the ordinary.
Jasmine activated her comlink calling for Severin.
No response.
"Ugh! Something's blocking the signal. I wonder what it is..."
She switched to her Aura vision detecting an intense blue glow emanating from a single entity.
Below the ground.
Right under her feet Jasmine wiped the dirt away.
A metallic bunker hatch.
She used Ephemera's ability to project her spirit outside the body.
The hatch was opened from within.
Jasmine carefully climbed down the rusty ladder.
There was only darkness.
Her eyes turned to red and her vision got clear; just like in the daylight.

Rayne's daughter, the chief of Kestrels, was haunting the halls of the bunker in the search for that orb of blueish light.
The expedition led her into a huge laboratory of Nazi origins.
She found the source:
-a feral vampire with black and white fur. He was attached to an operation table. To and through him were attached electrical wires.
The beast howled in pain.
"Who...
-is...
-there?"
Jasmine got the creeps when she heard the voice. She felt a chill down her spine.
"WHAT are you?"

The feral vampire smelled her.
"The smell...
-knows it. Forgot it. But knows it."
Jasmine approached him.
He finally could see her.
He shouted:
"RAYNE! RAYNE! RAYNE!"

Jasmine backed away and started shooting.
The bullets did nothing. The monster reformed.
"Christ! What the fuck are you!?"
"You forgot Hedrox the Infinite so easily, Rayne?"
In that instant Jasmine felt dread.
"You are that son-of-a-bitch who tried to awaken Beliar hundreds of years ago at Castle Gaustadt!"
"Hedrox.
Confused.
Rayne forgot Hedrox.
How?"
Jasmine got pissed off:
"I am not her, you asshole. I am her daughter!"
Hedrox giggled.
"What's so funny, ugly face?"
"What year are we in?", Hedrox asked.
"2030. Or something like that. We don't really have calendars around here anymore", Jasmine pointed out.
"How are you still alive anyways? I thought Beliar ended your life.", she asked in awe.
Hedrox giggled wickedly again:
"Wulf was smart. But Hedrox was smarter. Hedrox the Infinite never joined. Only his clones."
"So, what was the plan after all with the heart, Hedrox?"
Another wave of electricity passed through Hedrox:
"Argh!",Hedrox screamed.
"Wanted revenge on all vampire kinds and humans who personally persecuted me."
Jasmine was confused. She had no idea what he was talking about.
"But why would you want the ritual stopped then?"
"Beliar's body parts can only be used by humans. The only creation with unaltered genes. They could never merge with anything other than men."
Jasmine understood now why Hedrox "failed" to combine the heart with himself; the reason why Hedrox summoned Beliar. Vampires, demons, werewolves, humanoid bats--all these were twisted creations of evil.
