May 2nd - literally just a school day. this is just the classes. that's all. nothing bad is going to happen. I swear.

"Wake up!"

Aspen sat up immediately from water being splashed on her face. She huffed and wiped her face. "I'm up!" She screamed angrily.

"Good." Marlene smiled, holding the empty glass of water. "We have your mother's exam today."

Aspen sighed and grabbed her wand. "I know," she dried her face, "we studied for hours last night."

"And I'm still not prepared." Marlene walked away.

"Lils!"

"Yeah?" She called from the bathroom.

Aspen swung her feet over the side of the bed. "Can I use your eyelash curler? Sirius broke mine last night."

"Of course," Lily walked out with the curler in hand, "but what in the world-"

"He was trying to see how hard he could push it." Aspen grabbed the curler. "Thank you, baby."

Lily winked. "Whenever you need, Penny."

"Oi," Aspen stretched as she stood, "where's Mary?"

Marlene immediately turned around. "I have been meaning to talk about this!" She said loudly, "The bitch just disappears and reappears, and I don't understand."

"I believe she's involved with someone, you two," Lily tutted, straightening her tie, "And you need to let her be happy."

Aspen shared a look with Marlene. "I'll be happy when she's honest." Aspen said with a smile.

The morning usually started off calmly but with a bit of chaos. The three girls got ready together, Lily curling Marlene's hair as Aspen showered. Of course, there was music in the background. Sage would always join them whenever she was ready and Mary would come back at whatever time she wanted to.

Something had been up with Mary. As Marlene said, she was never in the dorm and would always disappear. She refused to tell anyone what was going on, who she was with, or what she was doing. She swore to Lily and Aspen that she was being safe, but that didn't feel good enough for Aspen. She knew it was about a boy, and so did everyone else. Though, who it was, that was the question.

After getting ready and packing her tote bag, Aspen left the girls early. She did this most days. She walked through the corridor of the girl's dorms, went across the stairs, and into the boys' dormitories. She heard Bowie playing from down the corridor. It was always David Bowie.

"Good morning, lads!" She yelled as she opened the door.

"Penny!" Peter cheered as she closed the door.

James immediately wrapped her in a hug. "Hi, Asp."

She smiled and kissed him. "Hey, baby." She whispered.

"Okay, enough PDA." Remus groaned from his bed.

"Agreed." Sirius said, sitting close next to him.

Aspen disconnected from James and set her bag down by the door. "How are we all?" She asked, plopping herself on the couch.

"Actually," Remus looked at Sirius quickly before looking back at Aspen, "We need to talk to you."

James sighed and sat next to Aspen, wrapping an arm around her. "If it's about you two shagging, there's no need for secrecy." He shrugged.

Aspen, Sirius, and Remus were instantly shocked. Aspen sat up, looking at him with raised brows. "You know?" She asked in shock.

"How does everyone know?!" Sirius yelled, standing up.
