Blood.
Blood spreading everywhere, on the nice white sheets.
She'd only recently changed them from black. Or, well, dark anyways.
But now they were slowly turning red.
A nice, cherry-red.
They were warm as well.

She was breathing hard, and rapidly.
My face held a scorn of pain, hers being one of shock.

"What. Did you do!" she said, through rapid breaths.

I looked down to were i had swung the knife.
The blood was spreading everywhere, and it was doing so quickly.

She was breathing even more rapidly now, her throat sounding dry, the breaths almost like wheezes.

"Wha-" she said, her voice breaking.

My clothes were full of blood as well.

Not hers.

I looked down at the knife again.
I had buried it in my own stomach.

"I-" I gasped out.

"Help-"
Then i fell, the last thing i felt before being Alma catching me.

Then everything was black.
And quiet, and I didn't know why.
But i wanted to stay there... forever.

-Miss Peregrines POV-

"Don't you dare die on me" I say frantically. I laid her down on the blood gushed sheets of the bed. Threw of my heals, and... ran through the house, to Enoch's room.

"Wake up" I said, trying to keep myself composed, failing miserably.

"Wha-... Miss Peregrine?" The boy said, confused looking at me riddled with questions.

"Grab everything you need for an abdominal surgery!" I said, and his face turned stern, he got up, and rummaged through his things, eventually grabbing a box and throwing to surgical coats over his shoulder.

Right then i loved that he hadn't even questioned me.

"Were?" That was the first question. Not 'are you mad'.

"Come" I said, and ran through the house again, the boy following closely after me.

I barged into my own room, and Enoch came after me.
His face turned to pure horror.

"I- wha..." he fumbled with his wording. I knew he didn't show it, but he had warmed up to her rather quickly.

He took a deep breath.

"What happened" he asked, composing himself, and doing that better than me.

"She-" I struggled,

"I don't know! But it's a stage 4 abdominal trauma" I said. I didn't know how else to explain it.

-A/N: don't know if it's stage 4 or if that's even the term for it. But it is in burn victims so-

"You go, i've got this." He said.

"I- What?" I say, stunned.

"You love her, you don't want to watch."

... I walked out, concern and confusion plastered on my face.

How did he know that?

___________

-Y/N's POV-

Black.
I tried opening my eyes, but it was almost as if something was keeping them shut. Like black liquid. I kept trying and trying, until suddenly i fell.
