Ch 4 Hinata

What was I even doing.. I never hug people.. what the heck made me do that..
Kenma probably thinks I'm weird for doing that. Oh god I should apologize to him tomorrow. It's like I did it on impulse and for no reason. I get red in the face even thinking about it.

As a result, I couldn't sleep at all last night in the Karasuno headquarters.

As soon as I saw Kenma the next day, I immediately apologized as I should've.

"Kenma! I'm so sorry for hugging you last night! It must've felt super weird for you." I said while bowing down apologetically.
"Oh- uhm- Shoyo I don't mind... don't worry about it.." he said in almost a whisper.

I felt relieved that my best friend didn't hate me for something I did. Without thinking, I hugged him tight again,

"Thanks Kenma!"

"... don't worry about it shoyo" he said while looking away.

Practice continued for the morning. I was not ready to be done yet but at least I could sit by my friends for lunch. I couldn't seem to find Kenma anywhere so I just sat down with my team.

"Hinata, you need to bring your grades up in order to play volleyball after this camp." is what I hear my coach say while I almost spit out my drink.

"Cant there be an exception?" I whined.

"No exceptions, it's Takeda's orders"

I sat there figuring out what to do. It was English I was having the most trouble in. I suddenly remember how good Kenma's grades are. I texted him asking for help.

Hey Kenma! I just heard that I have to bring my grade up in order to play volleyball after this camp :(. Can you help me study for English tonight?

I waited for his response and got one in less than a minute.

Sure. We can study in the library if you'd like :). I'll bring my notes. Be there at 9:30?

That smiley face made me smile. It's so cute! Wait no.. snap out of it Hinata. Just reply to the message.

I waited for a response but the lunch break just ended. Time to get back to practice.
