HE'D MISSED YOU SO MUCH
It was about the time of after prayer
When she began to read a Qur'an's chapter
Her heart cools with the words of her maker
Her eeman growing firmer and stronger.
A week passed by and busy days arrived
She no longer had time to read the Holy Qur'an
Yes she prays but no longer with concentration
Her mind was pre-occupied with all the examinations.
Until a day so sad happened to her
And she felt that nobody truly cared
But Allah the Merciful made her read an authentic hadith
And her eyes cried as she slowly read it.
The Prophet (s.a.w) told his companions
That he misses his brothers amongst the Muslim nation
The companions (r.a) said that he shouldn't feel that way
Because they were there for him night and day.
Rasulullah (s.a.w) explained to them
That he wasn't at all referring to them
Who he really misses are the future believers
Who will love him and whom he loves now and forever.
How beautiful and how deep is the Rasul's love
To pray for every one to the Almighty above
To miss the people who believe in him
The people he haven't met and seen.
Upon reading the narration, something grew
She smiles, wipes her tears and had stopped feeling blue
The best man to walk on this earth had missed her much
And that alone is a heartwarming inspiring fact.
So she picked up the Holy Qur'an again
And allowed herself to get immersed
To let Allah's words flow into her heart
And feel the nearness of the Messenger of God.
She couldn't believe how she had forgotten
How the Prophet had slept less just to tearfully pray for the believing men and women
How he had reserved to Allah his answered favor as one of His Apostles
And that is for him to help us on the Day of Judgment.
Which is why she wrote this poem for you To remind you that:
He had missed you even before he met you
He had fought for your deen just so you will be free to become Muslims
He had stopped the burying of new born daughters
And taught people to be fair and kind to the orphans.
Read the story of the Prophet's life and success
Truly, you will realize how being a Muslim is a blessing itself.
He'd missed you so much which made him sad
Shouldn't you miss him too and love him back?
La ilaha ilallah, muhammadun rasulullah!
Sallallahu alayhi wasalam.
