𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟎

~A week Later~
~June 1st 2023~

This feeling still hasn't gone away just yet. Instead it's getting worse. I decided to go to the doctor to see the problem with this. As I waited in the waiting room I text updating Jah'Kyah.

Me: I'm still not feeling better so I decided to go to the doctor.

My world 🌎: okay baby, I can leave and be there with you.

Me: No it's fine, I'm already here. I'll update you on what happens.

My world 🌎: Mk be safe I love my bambina 😘

"Miss Kartier." The nurse yells, I looked up walking in her direction. Once we got into the room she asked me personal questions.

"Sexually active?" She asked, this reminds me of when my mom and I went to the doctor and they asked me if I was sexually active and my mom stared at me waiting for me to say the wrong thing.

"Y-yes." I answered honestly, she hummed, "Last sexual encounter." "About four weeks ago." She turned in my direction, taking her glasses off. "Miss Kartier there's a possibility you could be pregnant so we're gonna have you take a pregnancy test then we're gonna do bloodwork."

After she finished drawing blood, they gave me water. After using the bathroom, she came back with the test in her hand.

"Miss Kartier, congratulations you are 4 weeks pregnant." She handed me the bloodwork results and the pregnancy test both saying positive. My heart dropped, ( I'm pregnant. As a baby in my stomach, pregnant. Baby coming out of my coochie, pregnant. How will Kyah feel? Will she be mad? Will she be happy? )

I thanked the doctor before leaving with the pregnancy test. Once I got in the car my heart raced, I text Jah'Kyah.

Me: We need to talk like right now. Meet me at the house.

My world 🌎: Is everything okay? Yeah I'm omw

Me: Okay good I'm gonna call an order in and get me some Cheese fries from TGI Fridays want anything?

My world 🌎: Yeah some boneless wings with cheese fries also.

Me: okay.

As I walk in the house with our food, I call out for Kyah walking into the kitchen, a few minutes go by and she's sitting next to me eating her food.

We're eating, talking about our day and she asked me a question. "What did you need me to come home and talk about?" I froze into place, taking a sip of my blue raspberry lemonade before walking over to my purse grabbing the papers and pregnancy test.

"I went to the doctor and she asked me a lot of questions. After she asked me to take a pregnancy test and a blood test." I handed her the paper then laid the pregnancy test next to it. "I'm pregnant."

She froze staring at the pregnancy test before looking at the blood test. She looked at me, then jumped up hugging me. I heard her sniff, "why are you crying?" She pulled back tears falling from her eyes, "I've always dreamed of settling down and starting a family and the fact I get to start a family with the women I love."

She hugged me tightly, "Thank you so much for making me happy, thank you for loving me, for being there for me, for giving me an experience that I'll forever be grateful for."

She looked at me with a smile on her face, "I'm gonna be a mom." Tears fell from my eyes, "yeah. Me too." I nodded, we laughed together.

"Can I finish my food? I'm kinda hungry." She laughed, letting me finish my food.

I laid in my bed waiting for Kyah to get in the bed for my cuddles, she turned out the light crawling in the bed next to me. She gave me a kiss, "Good night Baby." then moving down to my stomach placing a kiss then dapping my stomach ending with a fist bump. "Good night, other baby."

I laughed at the cuteness, "He can't hear you yet." She laid next to me on my chest, with her arm protectively around my stomach. "She, and yes SHE can." I laughed, " I cherish moments like this, I love you more than you understand Principessa."

"I love you too."
