I watched him get out of the car, followed by two people from the driver's and passenger's seats. Despite his stern demeanor, I gave him a welcoming smile.

"Hi, you're a bit late, nauna pa ako sa'yo." Though, that was a good thing. It'll be awkward kapag si Kuya lang ang naabutan niya rito. Hindi pa naman sila nagkakilala in person.

He reached me and pulled me by the arm.

"Who was that?" he asked so critically that I frowned.

"Huh?" I was slightly distracted because of the Range Rover.

"Who is he?" he said again, more dangerous this time. Naguguluhan ako sa inaasal niya. He looks mad at something.

Their swagger looked so cool and professional.

"Who are they?" Kumawala ako sa kanya but he held me tight and pulled me back to him.

"Stop changing the topic. Sino iyon and why is he kissing you outside your house?" kwestiyon niya habang nagtatagis ang mga bagang.

"What the heck are you talking about ba?" We haven't seen each other for a while and then he'll show up feeling grumpy.

"I just told you I'm coming here and I'll be welcomed by you hugging and kissing some ass—" Tinakpan ko ang bibig niya bago niya pa iyon matapos.

"Huwag mo na ituloy kung ayaw mong barilin ka niyon sa ulo," I said, late realizing that he had already been shot in there before.

"So you're defending him?" He looked really upset right now. "And I don't care if he'll try to plant a bullet in my head. I'll swung a karambit on his fingers before he can even pull the trigger."

The image of what he described formed in my head and my stomach churned uncomfortably. I shot him bullets with my killer gaze. Why did our conversation devolve into a morbid topic?

"What? You're upset now?" He taunted na parang hinahamon pa akong magsalita.

Getting exhausted from this meaningless discussion, I gave in and hugged him tenderly. "That man that you're jealous about is my brother, asshole," I murmured then turned to my apartment.

"I'm sorry for that, baby. Don't tell him what I just said, okay? If he gets mad, I'll willingly let him drill that bullet in my brain."
