Habang dumadaan ang mga araw ay unti-unti kong narerealize ang ginawa ko. Wala akong karapatang mag-inarte, maghimutok o manibugho sa trato niya sa akin ngayon. I just broke his heart and this is just his way of coping up.
I will wait for him to be okay and ready to continue where we left. As friends.
But why does that thought leave a bitter taste in my mouth?
Rai Solomon: "Sama ka?"
I lied on my side and typed a reply.
Constelaine: "Hindi na siguro. Wala naman akong gagawin doon"
He was inviting me to join their annual retreat. Tradition na ng team nila iyong gawin a week before the Baguio-Benguet Educational Athletic League.
Rai Solomon: "Anong wala? Marami no!"
Constelaine: "Like?"
Rai Solomon: "Pwede mong bitbitin ang bag ko o kaya ay magluto ng pagkain natin. Pwede ka ring maging look out sa gabi tapos taga hugas din ng pinggan."
Constelaine: "'Kinnam!" Naghahanap lang pala ng katulong kaya nag-aya.
Nag laugh react siya doon.
Rai Solomon: "Ang lutong naman 'non!"
Constelaine: "Mas malutong kapag nasa harap kita, may side dish pa iyang hampas."
Rai Solomon: "Bakit kasi kasi ayaw mo?"
Constelaine: "Like ayaw kong maging utusan mo?"
Rai Solomon: "Naniwala ka talaga doon? Baka ako pa pagapangin ni Gustave sa putikan kapag binagbitbit kita eh."
My eyes were glued on the phone as I read that. An immense sense of sadness spread through my chest. I blinked and heaved to ease that heavy boulder weighing on my lungs.
Constelaine: "Hindi pa rin ako pupunta." I said with finality and turned off my internet, a way of dismissing him.
Constelaine: "Hey, church tayo this Sunday?" I chatted with him the next day.
Rai Solomon: "Sige, magdadala ba tayo ng fire truck?"
Constelaine: "Huh? Para saan?"
Rai Solomon: "Baka biglang kang magliyab pagpasok mo doon."

Sunday came and pumunta na kami ni Ara sa Rex. Grabe, ramdam ko 'yung kaba niya sa gagawin.
Ang dami kasing echos nitong si Ara. She could just be straightforward about her feelings for Alpha rather than doing this. Gusto niya raw kasing ma turn off si Alpha sa kanya dahil naiilang na siya sa pinaggagawa nito, like as if?
