I smirk at Shaun, on the swing. I look at Lane she says maybe a little too fast, "I'm not playing". Shaun and I look at each other, and he dashes away. I get off the swing and chase after him, around and around the little playground. I chase after him laughing, smiling, and feeling infinite.. I fall on the grass but get up and continue to chase him. He run and calls back, "Slow poke!" I speed up and almost catch up to him as he says "Base!" at the swings. "So childish!" Lane says to us. At the same time we stick out our tongues out at her and we all laugh together. Can a day before your birthday get any better?
