THE SOFT HUM has calmed her nerves, the fingertips comb her long wavy pink hair as she slightly shifts from her chair. Her emerald siren eyes look up to the window where a bird has tapped its beak through the glass window before flying away with the wind.
"It's okay to feel scared, Sei." She heard her name escape from her mother's lips as she slightly turned around with her small hands reaching out for her mother's warmth. The woman slightly laughs and intertwines her fingers with her tiny ones, "Now tell me. Why did you leave school again? You gave me and the teachers a fright, Seiren." She pouts and looks down at the ground. "I'm sorry, mama."
Uchiha Sakura looks at her daughter "What happened, Sei?" She asked her once again. The child's lips start to quiver, tears start to pool in her eyes before a single tear slips from her cheeks. Sakura quickly knelt on the ground, cupping her child's cheek, wiping the tear "Oh, I'm sorry, Sei."
Seiren couldn't help but tear up from the soft voice that Sakura tries to console her crying state, she couldn't help but wail with tears. Sakura immediately carried her in her arms, rocking her softly while rubbing her small back. Seiren continues to weep in pain and distraught.
After a few minutes, Seiren manage to calm down and she releases a few hiccups that causes the woman to reach out a glass of water and gave Seiren a few sips which the child gladly gulp the water. She then looks at Sakura with her puffy eyes and red runny nose. "You don't need to tell me, darling. I understand." Sakura said with a smile.
Seiren shakes her head "There are some boys in my class.." she started, her pink hair flowing slightly with the wind that pass through the room. "They made fun of the color of my hair..." she mumbled. Sakura's lips immediately turned into a frown, and quickly the door slides open revealing Shizune with Sarada who immediately went to Sakura's side as Seiren hides her face on her mother's neck.
Shizune smiled "I told their teacher that these two will be excused for the day." She said, Sakura gave her a thankful smile before the woman left the room.
"Is Sei okay, mama?" Sarada asked as Sakura looks over Seiren who dozes off to sleep. Sakura puts a finger on her lip "Your sister is sleeping," Sarada copies her movement with a nod. Sakura giggled at the cute gesture. She continues to comb Seiren's hair with a smile.

HER EYES shot open, she scrunched her nose when she felt a ray of light come through the window and slightly blind her, she huffed and slowly sat up. She slightly combed her hair before she reached out a hair clip and tied her hair yet a few strands have gone down. A soft knock on the door echoes through her room and before she knew it, Sarada came in with a soft smile.
