Logan's P.O.V

----------------------

I popped my earbuds in my ears and sat on my bed, singing along with the lyrics.

"There's a drum line in my heartbeat

I know exactly where it's from

They're turning off the street lamps

They say the day is almost done

There's a ringing in my ears now

I remember how it was

The feeling we had last night

And it won't stop now because

Everybody says hey, no

We don't wanna see this day go

If I ever had my say, so

We can make this go all night, night, night

'Cause if the party is dead

We can bring it back to life

Yeah, we can make it through the night

If you listen to the words that I say

'Cause if the party is dead

All we need is candle light

And a little bit of dynamite

Everybody will get out of our way

I got a a song stuck in my head

I know exactly why it's there

There's a noise outside my bedroom

And I don't even care."

I look to my right, and there was a backpack. I raise an eyebrow and take out my earbuds so I can pick it up. I haven't even noticed it till now and the backpack wasn't even mine. How long has it been there? I zip it open and look inside. I pull each item out and place them in front of me, an old Mp3 player, an envelope, some random pictures, and lastly, a picture of _____ and I jumping around together. I smile as a tear slid down my face. It was six whole years ago when mom took this picture. I place the picture down on the bed and grab the other ones, looking at them closely. There was seven different people through-out all the pictures.

I notice how there was one picture with two girls throwing around a boy, and a couple steps away you could see the other two. The blonde boy was carrying around the (hair color) girl on his back. I look closer to the girl getting a piggy back ride and notice she had the same (eye color) eyes as _____. It must be her. I continue to look through the pictures and see a few of _____ and Nico, but most of them were of her and Percy.

I place the pictures down and pick up her Mp3 player looking through her songs. There were a few, but not a lot. One stuck out to me though, it was titled "Leave Out All The Rest." I take my own earbuds and plug them into the Mp3 player, listening to the song. It played and more tears slid down onto the sheets as the lyrics played on,
