Alisha sat on the couch in her apartment, staring at her phone. She had been waiting for a text from her friend Rohan for hours, and still there was nothing. It wasn't like him to be so silent, and Alisha couldn't help but worry.

She had known Rohan since their first year of college, when they were both freshmen at the same university. They had met in their graphic design class and quickly become friends. Since then, they had been through everything together: breakups, finals week stress, and everything in between. They were each other's confidants, always there to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on.

But something was different about Rohan today. He had seemed off when they had met for lunch earlier, and now he was completely unreachable. Alisha couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

She decided to take matters into her own hands and headed over to Rohan's apartment. When she arrived, she knocked on the door and waited nervously for him to answer. After a few moments, the door opened, and Rohan stood there looking exhausted and defeated.

"Hey, Alisha," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Rohan, what's going on? I've been trying to reach you all day," Alisha said, concern etched on her face.

Rohan let out a sigh and motioned for Alisha to come inside. They settled onto his couch, and Alisha watched as Rohan fidgeted with his hands.

"Talk to me, Rohan. What's wrong?" Alisha asked softly.

Rohan took a deep breath and began to tell Alisha about the stress he had been under at work. He had been putting in long hours at his job as a software developer, and it was taking a toll on his mental health. He was struggling with anxiety and depression, and it was beginning to feel like too much to handle.

Alisha listened intently as Rohan poured his heart out to her. She could see the pain in his eyes, and she knew that he needed someone to lean on.

"It's okay to feel vulnerable, Rohan," Alisha said gently. "You don't have to go through this alone. I'm here for you, and I always will be."

Rohan looked at Alisha, and for a moment, she saw the weight of the world lifted from his shoulders. He leaned in and buried his face in her neck, and Alisha wrapped her arms around him, holding him tightly.

"I don't want to be alone tonight, Alisha," Rohan said quietly. "Will you stay with me?"

Alisha didn't hesitate. She nodded and settled on the couch next to Rohan, holding him close as they watched a movie together. As they snuggled under a blanket, Alisha could feel Rohan's breathing slow and steady. She knew that he was finally at peace, at least for the moment.

It was the first time that Alisha had ever held Rohan like this, and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of something more than friendship. She had always been attracted to him, but she had never acted on those feelings. Now, as she felt his body against hers, she couldn't help but wonder if maybe there was something more between them.

As the movie ended, Rohan turned to Alisha and looked at her with an intensity that she had never seen before. He leaned in and brushed his lips against hers, and Alisha felt her heart skip a beat. She had never been kissed like this before, with such tenderness and emotion.
