(This is called me not knowing what to title this chapter) (Jake POV)
I hate dreams. Especially when you know remembering them means they have a meaning... but you don't want to know that meaning. If that makes any sense..
I looked at Hailey, fast asleep smiling away, I could barely move, I know I'll wake her up if I did, she's a really light sleeper. How did I ever get so goddamn lucky... uh oh... gotta sneeze.
J- (sneeze)
Shit, Her eyes opened
H- what the-
J- sorry princess.
H- well I'm up now (yawn)
Great I woke her up.
H- what time is it?
J- I dunno!
She reached for her phone.. that doesn't look good, she seems terrified.
H- THEY'RE COMING BACK EARLY.
J- like when early?
H- LIKE IN 10 MINUTES EARLY.
We're dead.
H- HURRY GET OUT OF HERE!
J- I'm going!
I ran around the house getting all of my stuff and cleaning the mess we left out last night. I threw everything in my bag
H- 4 minutes!
J- Ok! I'm out!
H- Love you!
J- love you too!
And just like that I was out the door hopping into my car. Gone. I had to catch my breath, that was scary as hell.
I pulled into my driveway learning my mom and Milo weren't home, and I had the place to myself for god knows how long.. I checked the time, it was only 11 am and I've had enough rush already.. so I went upstairs. I grabbed my headphones and settled in. I listened to Hailey's song like some immature obsessed kid... but it felt nice just to hear the sounds of "King of my Heart" when I had to leave her early.
