(Jake's POV)
I really fucked up, I wanted to go after her but she's just too stubborn for me to do that. I awaited my fate and just sat there on the porch thinking about what I did. Suddenly there was a loud running sound coming my way getting louder with each step after a minute of the sound, there was an added sob to it
Hailey- Jake! I'm so so sorry! I love you, I really do!
Jake- Hey, It's alright. I love you too, don't forget that.
Hailey- okay, I won't
Jake- what made you come back?
Hailey- I dunno something just told me to.
Jake- well want to come back inside
Hailey-I really shouldn't-
Jake- that's alright.
Hailey- well you see... I gotta get back before 12:50 or I'm not allowed out anymore, and it's 12:32...
Jake- I'll take you home, don't worry about a thing.
Hailey- and how long will that take...
Jake- about 5 minutes
Hailey- alright let's go then
I took her by the hand and we got in my car. She looked at me like she wanted something, but didn't want to ask.
Jake- are you ok?
Hailey- yeah, I just really want more time like this
Jake- well we have about 10 minutes to kill
Hailey- more than that, but..
Jake-but?
Hailey-tomorrow, my parents are taking Zander to this piano convention, and they'll be gone for a few days. Bethany is staying at her friend's house for the weekend and I'm supposed to watch the house.
Jake- and?
Hailey- want to come over tomorrow?
Jake- sure. Sounds like fun!
Hailey- great!
She looked at me again, captivating me with this look that just pulled me in
her lips were soft as she locked them into mine. I wrapped my arms around her and she got closer to me. Hailey grabbed my face somehow we got closer, and just Like that she pulled away too soon. That sweet smile after made it all worth the ending.
Hailey- alright it's 12:34, we only killed 2 minutes.
Jake- alright shall we continue?
Hailey- but the glovebox is in the way! I just want to be close to you..
Jake- there's a backseat you know
Hailey- I'm aware, but nothing good comes out of those.
Jake-fair
Hailey- let's just go, I should just get back early.
Jake-alright if you say so.
