Chapter 16: 1st Birthday

Today's Addi's  First Birthday Preston and I still in bed lying around the Birthday girl is still asleep between us so Preston can't really move his arms cause her head was on his arms lying by Preston  chest providing her needed warmth.

Umm, Are we just gonna stay this way? Preston asked kinda annoyed by his daughter. Yes unless you want to stay with a hysterical morning with a one year old. Ugh. Can you like carry her and put her in her crib I can't feel  my arms anymore. Preston demanded. Fine I said as I carry Addi putting her in the crib tapping her back gently so she wouldn't wake up. After sometime. I heard someone barged in. MOMMY! DADDY! is addi awake? Jae asked. Ever since Jae met addi he had been protective to his sister so as Jaden tho- but sometimes he's just cold like his dad. Preston genes really came in to Jaden's body. Any ways.

A few hours later

We are getting things ready. It's crazy how quick time last. We can't believe she's a year old already. We are having a celebration at our place. We have caterers coming anytime now. Addi, I bet you can't for your party today. Preston said. I think she's does I mean by the look on her face. I say she smiles and giggles at Preston. The caterers arrive so I let them in to start setting the food up. The buffet if steamy hot so it was just cooked. Preston and I told the where we want  everything. The food actually smells good.  I just want to eat now. Preston said.  I know but we'll have to wait till everyone's here. The Jaden came running. Mommy I'm hungry the food smells good.  Hmm Just like his father. I know sweetie but we need to wait until everyone's here you can only get a cupcake there 3 extra pieces of cupcakes in there get one. Soon people start to arrive. First to arrive my parents the Preston's sister keeley and her husband Scott. I can't believe my niece is one already said keeley. I know Bri and I can't either. Preston replies
It's crazy that there's nothing we can't do about it. It feels like yesterday she was just born. Preston added. People continued to arrive and of course they wanted to see Addi first as she's the Birthday girl. We told everyone not to buy that many present but they seem ignored. Oh well our little girl deserves to be spoiled  on her special day. Don't she. We I meant  Preston put a tiara on her head. Well you know why. The food was a big hit to everyone. By the end people were almost gone. We knew that all of us had a fun time celebrating Addi's special day. I know she loved it and so we did.
