Two years in the future

"Do you Augustine Gold take João Félix as your husband and promise to love him till the death tears you both apart?" The priest asked me

"I do" I answered and looked João in his eyes. He smiled at me and I smiled back

"Do you João Felix take Augustine Gold as your wife and promise to love her till the death tears you both apart?" The priest asked at him. It's just like the time slowed, my heart dropped when I didn't hear Joãos answer. and then he spoke up

"I do" He answered and smiled

"If anyone in the audience has anything to say, speak now or forever hold your peace" the priest said and silence followed it. I smiled to myself. This is it, I'm married now

"Then I announce you Augustine Gold and João Felix as wife and husband. You may now kiss the bride!" the priest said

João leaned in and kissed me. This was the most romantic kiss we've ever had. He held my waist as I held his face. He kissed me so softly like he could break me.

We both pulled apart and smiled at eachother. I felt my eyes start to water, I was so happy. I looked at the audience, at my family and friends and saw them all smiling. This is the best day of my life.

João took my hand and we both started to walk out of the church. I saw Betty holding the flower petals and throwing them at us. I looked around and me and James locked eyes. He nodded his head and I felt great that my family and friends loved João.

We both walked through the church till we reached the door. João opened it for me. I couldn't feel more happy in this moment. Hand in hand we walked outside of the church and I was met with thousands of cameras.

There was paparazzi absolutely everywhere. We could barely even walk through them. João held his hand in front of me and used it as a barrier so the paparazzi wouldn't run into my beautiful white dress.

"You don't have to save me, but would you run away with me?" I whispered in his ear

"Let's make a run for the limo" he smiled at me, agreeing with my idea

Still holding our hands, we broke through the pool of people. We tried our best not to fall or untie our hands. Even though there were hundreds of people João still managed to open the cars door for me. I jumped in and he followed me.

The car ride was silent. It wasn't akward. It was the kind of silence you can only have with someone you love. We were still hand in hand with eachother.

"So then, what are we?" he asked in a teasing tone

"Call it what you want" I answered smiling

The end!!! Sorry to end it like this. I really wanted to make it go much deeper but I felt like It was getting boring. Thank you all for reading!!
