Chapter eighteen

  "Get out of my house!"

  "You brought me here you dumb bitch"

  "Get the fuck out!"

I woke up from people shouting. I decided to get up and see what was happening there. I got out of the bed and walked out of the guest bedroom. The shouting didnt stop. I saw João on top of the stairs and that girl at the bottom of them. I was on the side of the stairs. And I watched them shout.

  "Just get out I don't want you here you whore"

  "Don't call me that cheater!"

  "What the fuck is going on" I asked both of them

  "You know what, I'll just get out. It will be easier for you and your little girlfriend here. Bye snake" she told us both and went outside the house

  "Mind telling me what was this?"

  "I'm not sure I'm so sorry. I don't remember anything from yesterday. I just woke up and I saw her next to me on the bed. I was shocked, I was frozen you know" he told me

  "Okay João, come and sit with me on the couch and let's talk about it" I told him and went into the living room. He sat next to me on the couch and I started talking.

  "So who is she?" I asked even though I knew already

  "she's my ex. We still have the same friendgroup and I didn't know she was going to be there, I'm sorry" he apologised again

  "And why did you two break up?" I was curious because I didn't know they were saying in the past

  "Because she cheated on me with that Pedro guy. Ugh she was such a bitch" he said thinking about her

  "And you don't remember anything from yesterday?" I asked him

  "no I'm so sorry. Look I don't want anything with her and you're the only thing on my mind okay? She's the worst person I've ever met" João said

  "Then you wouldn't mind helping me with a song would ya" I told him in a joking manner because of the song I wrote at night

  "Depends. Were you that jealous that you wrote a song? And I thought dating an actress was crazy enough" João laughed

  "That's the only way I can put my emotions out sorry" I smiled

  "No worries. We can go upstairs and check it out?" he offered me and got up

  "Obviously " I answered with a smile. Me and him raced up the stairs and trust me we both know who's the fastest. He still let me win and that was really nice from him.

  We went in the room and I showed him the paper with the lyrics and melody.

  "You know I can't read sheet music. Mind playing it?" he asked me a bit ashamed of it

  "Of course my love" I answered him feeling brave today.

  I gave him the lyrics and played the melody. Even though I didn't mean for it to be on the piano I could play what I wanted to sing. I played it and sung with it together.

  "whoa that's such a great song about such a bad person " he laughed

  "what can I say, I am a mastermind" I smiled at him.

  He sat next to me on the piano stool. We both were practically almost falling off the stool but we didn't care. We had eachother. I played a melody and he tried to continue it. I loved his effort in understanding me and my passions. He definitely was my lover.

  We both laughed and smiled and giggled with eachother. I felt so comfortable with it. We both came up with lyric ideas and completed eachothers thoughts. He was the perfect man.

  We both locked eyes and stared. I started to admire his brown eyes. I've never been a brown eyed dude lover but he was an exception. He always was. I thought I saw him lean in and I was true. He leaned in deeper and put his arm on my chin.

  "Can I kiss you Augustine?" João asked me

  I blushed and said "Of course João"

  And just as I said that he pulled me in a kiss. It definitely wasn't a short one. it was a long and deep kiss. I could feel all my emotions racing around me. The butterflies were absolutely everything and I felt happier than I've ever been. He let me go and smiled at me.

  "You're such a great kisser" I told him

  "I know" he winked and I laughed.
