Leah POV
It was all rainbows and kittens since this morning when I woke up in Chan's arms.
I'd already taken my bath and was waiting for Chan to come out. The breakfast had arrived and I was waiting for him to come out so we could eat together.
Suddenly, my phone starts to ring and I look at the caller ID. It was Cheng.
Feeling myself flush for some reason, I answer the call, "hello".
"Leah, hey. Good morning"
"Morning" I say, starting to pace the room.
"How was your night?" He asks and I giggle. GIGGLED.
I wondered if I was actually acting like a school girl with her crush or if I was just sick.
"It.. it was fine"
"Oh, cool cool.. umm.. I was wondering, are you free today?"
"Yes" I answer immediately and I just want to slap myself for that. No class I swear.
"Oh, nice. Um.. I wanted to come pick you up.. right now? Is that OK? I want us to spend the whole day together. I want to take you somewhere today" he says timidly.
"Really? Where?"
"It's a surprise.." he whispers with a laugh, "where are you right now?".
"Umm.. at a hotel... " I say hesitantly, just as Chan walks into the room, towelling his hair.
"Hotel?"
"Yeah, I went out with a friend yesterday and it was really late so we decided to crash at a hotel" I say scratching my neck. Chan sits on the bed, looking at me with a pout.
"Oh, I see. So, which hotel are you at so I can come pick you up?"
I tell him the address of the hotel, which he replies that he was nearby and that he would be there soon.
"Ok, but you'll have to drop me off at home first".
"Ok, no problem. I'll be there soon"
Suddenly excited, I end the call and start looking around for my bag.
"Hey, is everything OK?" Chan asks, now fully clothed.
"Oh, uh.. I have to go" I say, still looking for my bag. He frowns.
"What? Now?"
"Yeah, Cheng is coming to pick me up" I answer now grabbing my bag.
"Cheng... the guy from yesterday?" He asks and I nod.
"Yeah... uh.. thanks for yesterday, I really appreciate it. But I have to go now" I say, turning to leave but he grabs my hand.
"Hey, why don't we have breakfast first? You could even call him and ask him to meet you at home... I could just drop you off" he says smiling unsurely.
