Something is wrong.
What is terrifying is knowing what it is.
I decide to tell Percy it's better he learns now than later. He should know.
I walk on deck and see him. He is in the crows nest staring at the blue sea. His face calm yet constricted. Like he is normal yet confused. I make the climb and simply lean against the edge with him watching the waves.
"I love you"
I love those words especially when they come from him. I smile and hug him. Releasing but to come into an embrace of the lips. Fire grew but was not overbearing... it was like a campfire. (BE QUIET THAT HAD CAMPFIRES THEN OK!! PERSASSY!)
I look into his eyes and say three words.
"So does this." I speak while gently moving his hand to my stomach.
