Chapter 3

After ordering our Starbucks and vlogging for a little bit, we headed back to the car. I hopped into the drivers seat and set my camera on the dash board so I could vlog while I drove. "So guys," I said, sipping my chocolate chip frappuchino, "we're headed back to campus to go chill in our dorm room for a little bit since it's Saturday!" I covered the lense with my hand as we pulled into the parking lot of the school. Me and Nikki went to the University of Southern California, and I seriously couldn't have thought of any other place to live. I get to be in the warm weather and there are celebrities anywhere you could imagine. For a vlogger like me, this is the perfect place to live. As we unlocked the door to the dorm and plopped on some chairs, we decided that today wasn't going to be how we usually spend our Saturday nights in sweatpants, pigging out and watching tv. No... This was going to be a crazy day. "Ok.. Lets plan our day!" Nikki said. "I think we should take a little road trip..." I said, "To Hollywood". "Let's do it!" Nikki exclaimed. I grabbed my purse and camera, threw on some dip dyed shorts and a crop top, put a fedora on my head, and headed out the door

"Well, I'll see y'all in Hollywood!" I finished, covering the camera. "Alright folks. Next stop, Hollywood!!!" I exclaimed as me and Nikki let out a squeal. As always, Nikki was playing one direction all the way there. She was a huge directioner. We were blasting out to songs like "Rock Me" and "One Thing" when my phone vibrated. It was a YouTube message. I never get YouTube messages... Interesting. I told Nikki to grab my phone and read the message to me. I'm a very cautious driver... And I'm clumsy. So if I checked my phone while I was driving, I'd probably be dead by now. "AHHHHHHHH!" Nikki screamed. "What is it?" "SAM! SAM POTTORFF! HE SAYS THAT HE WANTS TO DO A COLLAB WITH YOU WHILE YOUR IN HOLLYWOOD!!!" Oh my gosh. Sam pottorff? He's a bigger YouTube star than me! He wants to do a collab with me? This is surreal! "Wait," I say, "How does he know I'm in Hollywood today?" "Well," Nikki says as she blushes. "I may have tweeted that you and I were going to Hollywood today?" Nikki.... Typical Nikki. "Well, thanks... But also no thanks. Don't tweet about it again, ok? We'll probably be stormed with fans. Maybe not... I'm not that big of a YouTube celebrity" I say. "Are you kidding? You're huge! Sam, you have 90,000 subscribers! That's insane!" Ya... I guess I was bigger than a lot of people. I just hoped we wouldn't be stormed with fans today. I wanted to have a chill day with my best friend. But now, this could be the biggest day of my LIFE! My first collab video with a HUGE YouTube celebrity!!!! Wow... I must be dreaming.
