dave panted as he made it to the bridge. knowing this was one spot that kurt liked to hangout at.

his brown eyes widen as he noticed the pack of cigarettes on the ground next to the burnt in words on the concreted wall of the bridge.

"no.." dave whimpered out. he suddenly had a bad feeling resting in his gut. his feet suddenly quickened their pace as he ran towards the direction of the train tracks.

once he made it there. he saw kurt. walking across the tracks.

dave gasped as he cried out. "KURT COBAIN!" kurt halted his footsteps as he turned his head.

a sad look rested in his blue eyes as he smiled a little. not responding to dave.  a light glow was in the background as a train horn blared.

dave suddenly gasped as he ran onto the tracks. the train was getting closer as kurt simply stood.

the horn continued to blare. dave screamed "NO!" as he ran over to kurt and hugged him, shoving him with his body weight off of the tracks as the train went straight passed the two.

both of the males falling on the gravel ground that was next to the tracks. dave held onto kurt close as he broke down into tears.

loud sobs leaving out of dave as he placed his hands into kurt's stubbled cheeks.

"why..?! why would you even think about doing that!?" dave shrieked out as tears streamed down his face.
kurt couldn't help but cry as well.

"because i'm a burden." kurt whimpered out as his head lowered itself. dave shakes his head as he brought the shorter into a tight embrace.

the rain falling onto them as they cried. holding each other close.

"no! no you're not!" dave says panicked as he continued to hold onto kurt.

"i dont wanna loose you. you mean everything to me." dave cried out as his hands held onto kurt's face. the rain soaking their faces and hair.

kurt sniffled as he leaned into dave's touch.  "i'm sorry." he apologized but dave shakes his head. "no, no. i could've lost you." dave says in a panicked state as his hands trembled. holding onto kurt so tightly.

"i don't want to loose you, honey." dave cried out as he brought kurt into another hug. he couldn't help it. his heart was racing. it was aching. he was horrified.

kurt couldn't help but smile a little. "you really care about me, this much..?" he asked sadly as he looked into dave's eyes.

"YES!" dave screamed at the top of his lungs. "Of course I fucking do! kurt, please don't ever do this again! you really mean everything to me!"

kurt's blue gaze slowly fell to his lap. "im sorry." he apologized again but dave lifted the blondes head and held it with his hands.

"stop. stop that right now. this is none of your fault." dave says sternly with love and caring passions.

they both looked into each other's eyes as rain and tears streamed down their faces.

"you saved me." kurt whispered.

dave nodded as he continued to hold onto kurts face. cupping the blondes cheeks as his thumbs brushed against them. wiping those streaming waterfall–like  tears.

"you're my savior.." kurt spoke softly as he started to cry again. soft sobs leaving his shaking lips as dave brought him into a hug.

"yes, and i will always be your savior." dave replied as the two swayed together.

holding each other as they swayed. their clothes slightly covered in the mud and dust of the gravel rocks that were near the train tracks.

they pulled away from each other and rode to their feet.

kurt sniffled as dave held onto kurt's hands. "please don't ever do that again. please." the drummer begged and pleaded as they both looked into each other.

locking the intense love contact with their eyes together.

"i 'll be here. for you." kurt replied softly as the shorter squeezed the brunet's hands gently.

dave brought kurt into another hug. he was still scared. kurt could've died. but he didn't. all because dave saved him in time.

if he didn't listen to his gut, this would've gone horribly.

kurt returned the hug as he hid his face into daves shoulder. both of them crying softly as the rain faded away. now only leaving dark gloomy skies and rainy puddles.

"you're my savior, dave." he muttered into dave's shoulder.
