dave's brown gaze looked deeply at kurt. he couldn't help it. just admiring kurt's beauty from afar.

kurt sat up and fixed the blanket on himself. he felt the eyes staring at him as he pried his gaze away from the tv and looked back at dave.

they made eye contact. dave felt a sudden rush of heat rise to his face. his brown eyes quickly looking away towards the side.

a soft giggle left out of kurt which caused dave's stomach twist. his heart pounding in his chest.

"sorry." dave apologized and looked back over. kurt shakes his head. "no, it's okay."

they made brief eye contact once again before they heard the sound of the magazine being tossed onto the coffee table.

they looked away from each other and look over at krist.

"want me to put on a movie?" krist suggested. "sure." kurt replied. krist nodded as he got up to pick a movie tape for all of them to watch.

dave sighed. his brown eyes looking back over at kurt. admiring the man's beauty. but he knew kurt didn't see himself that way.

which made a frown slowly crept up on his lips. krist picked out a movie and started up the vcr player.

he inserted the tape into it and pushed the rewind button. kurt's blue eyes look over at dave. "what?" he asked. curious on what dave was staring at him for so long.

dave shakes his head. making up an excuse. "sorry, i must've stared off."  he chuckled softly as krist clicked the play button and went to shut off the lights.

kurt felt his lips curl upwards as he shakes his head. "no, it's okay." dave noticed the smile and couldn't help but smile back.

then the room turned dark. the only light source was the movie playing.

krist sat back in the chair as he asked. "kurt, pass me one of those blankets would ya?"

kurt nodded as he handed krist a blanket. "here." "–thanks."

the grunge singer felt himself already getting tired. he slowly laid back down. but instead, his head was laying onto dave's lap.

dave quickly looked down and noticed. he couldn't help but smile. his cheeks warm.

daves hand rested onto kurt's back as he whispered. "you feeling tired?" kurt replied with only a nod to the head.

his hand only remained onto kurt's back. feeling that soft touch only made kurt's heart swell up with happiness.

he missed this touch. very much.

kurt glanced over at krist and noticed the bass player was crashed out. asleep.

"haha, dave look." kurt muttered as he lazily lifted up his hand and pointed over to the sleeping krist.

dave's brown gaze looked over and chuckled. "guess krist was that tired, huh?"

"guess so."

they looked into each other's eyes once again. dave couldn't help but lean in a little.

"what..?" kurt whispered. feeling the sense to be quieter. dave's gaze look at kurt's lips but quickly moved his head back.

he wasn't ready. the fear ate inside of him. "sorry, too close." he apologized as he laughed nervously.

"it's okay." kurt says in response. both of them smiled at each other. the blonde suddenly got off the couch and stretched his arms up.

dave watched with a soft gaze. "i should get to bed." kurt admitted as he lowered his arms. "you can sleep on the couch, okay?" he says and started to head towards the stairs.

"alright kurt, goodnight." dave spoke. kurt waved as he disappeared up the stairs.

"night!"
