Eve (a Merlin fanfic)

Chapter 38

I woke up to light shinning in my eyes. It was lisa I said

"Lisa what are you doing."

"I'm going to be your new maid."

"thank you for offering but I can take care of myself"

"not going to be that easy to get rid of me." she went to my closet and got a gown out for me I got up and changed into it. She then said

"Arthur's looking for you he wants to talk about some druid business." I left the room and bumped into Eric. I said

"oh sorry Eric." he looked at me and said

"Its okay I was just looking for you. I wanted to give this to you before I left."
He held out a bracelet. I took it and said
"It's beautiful but I can't take this." I held it toward him and he said
"Just take it as a friendly gift." I was about to refuse but he said
"Please take it." Then I put it on and said
"thank you." He smiled and walked away. Then I headed to Arthur's chamber. I walked in and I heard a big clang. Arthur was throwing something at Merlin. It was flying at me I put my hand up to stop it but instead of it stopping I felt a burning feeling around my wrist I cried out in pain and fell to the floor. I saw that the bracelet was glowing. I grabbed it and threw it on the floor . I saw Merlin and Arthur running towards me. Arthur asked "who gave you the bracelet?"
I groaned and said "Eric" he grabbed his sword and raced out of the room. I then looked at Merlin he said "your going to be okay." I looked at my wrist and saw a red mark around my wrist.
He helped me up and grabbed the bracelet. He walked me to Gaius as soon as we got there he said
"What happened?"
"I don't know exactly Eve tried to use some magic but couldn't for some reason."
"Eve may I see your wrist?" I nodded and put out my wrist and he examined the burn mark. He then asked
"What caused this?" Merlin then gave him the bracelet, he started to examine it and after a while he sighed and said
"If you wore it any longer you would've been killed." Then Arthur came through the door with Eric who was laughing, he then said "I see the bracelet worked."
I looked at him and said "who put you up to this?"
"Oh nobody let's just say an old friend says hi." Morgana instantly came to mind. I started to back up and whispered "Morgana." He started laughing harder and said "that bracelet I gave you takes away any magic you got." I then said
"Arthur he's all yours."
He then took him out of the room. A tear rolled down my cheek and Merlin took me in a hug but I knew that now I was only queen of the Druids nothing more.
